Sad news today that Pia Melody passed away. I feel heavy hearted hearing this news given her profound influence on my life and the lives of many of my clients and friends.
She was certainly a pioneer in the field of childhood trauma, codependency, and all things associated with recovery from substance abuse.
I had the privilege of meeting her and spending four hours with her in my small group of 6 at The Meadows in Phoenix, Arizona in 2019. They are memories that I will carry with me always. She profoundly influenced my own life, and I believe made me a better person, a better mother, a better, a friend, and a better therapist.
I am truly grateful for everything she did in her world, everything she stood for, her profound sense of integrity and love for those who needed someone to hold a light so they could see their way through the darkness.
Rest in peace Pia ❤️🙏

I’ve now completed my Advanced Training in Gestalt Supervision in Syracuse Italy. A challenging 2.5 year training with Margherita Spagnuolo Lobb, Gestalt Instituto, Italy with 20 amazing therapists from 15 different countries. Heading home after 5 trips - relieved, honoured and with memories that will stay with me forever …
