Bali has been beautiful — the sunshine, the slower pace, the break from routine 🌺

But I’ll be honest… I’ve really missed great food.

Not just eating out, but home-style, nourishing, made-with-love meals — the kind that make you feel good after you eat them.

This trip reminded me how much I value:
✔ fresh ingredients
✔ knowing what goes into my food
✔ meals that don’t rely on deep frying or mystery sauces

And yes… I’ve missed my TM7 more than I expected 😅

The ease, the flavour, the “real food without the effort” magic.

Grateful for the getaway — but also excited to get home, cook again, and enjoy food that truly fuels me 💛

You know it’s officially an Aussie Christmas when Santa’s photo looks less “North Pole” and more Maroubra Beach 🎅🏖️

If there’s sand in the background, sunnies on Santa, and at least one inflatable flamingo nearby — yep, checks out.

And let’s not forget the true festive tradition… the prawn queue 🦐

🇮🇹✨ MOSTACCIOLI MAGIC! ✨🇮🇹
Who knew that after all these years of elbow-deep mixing, arm-aching kneading and “why did I start this?” moments… Luigi would swoop in and save me over 2 HOURS?!

Yes, you heard right — 2kg of pure Mostaccioli joy whipped up in record time, while I stood there in my white bling crocs feeling like the sparkliest Italian nonna in town. 💁‍♀️👡✨

These honey-kissed, hard traditional biscuits have been in my family forever… but today?
Today we made them the 2025 way — fast, fabulous, and stress-free with a little help from my favourite kitchen sidekick, Luigi.

Enough to feed the whole famiglia… and still sneak a few for “quality control.” 😉🍯🍪

Tonight’s Festive Cooking Class was next-level delicious AND just a little bit chaotic — exactly how I like it 😜

Yes, I rocked up in my blinged-out Crocs, because nothing says “holiday spirit” like sparkles and comfort while whipping up magic in the kitchen.

And the star of the show?
👉 A salmon filo snail so big, so golden, so flaky… it deserves its own postcode.

We rolled, we folded, we laughed, we tried not to eat the filling with a spoon (no promises 🤫)… and of course Luigi (aka my Thermomix TM7) did what he does best — made it all look easy.
