👨‍⚕️ Meet Your Doctor – Dr Mina Fam

Dr Mina Fam is an Australian trained General Practitioner with extensive surgical and hospital experience. He holds MBBS, FRACGP and a Skin Cancer Certificate, and completed his Fellowship through GP Synergy.

Dr Fam previously worked as a Senior Surgical Resident Medical Officer at Liverpool Hospital, with rotations in Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery and surgical aged care. He later continued at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals as an Orthopaedic Registrar, developing strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills that underpin his approach to general practice today.

He has completed advanced skin cancer training with Health Cert and is a member of the Australasian Skin Cancer College. Dr Fam is committed to thorough assessment, clear diagnosis and structured management plans tailored to each patient.

Dr Mary Girgis is a General Practitioner and a valued new addition to the team at Good Samaritan Medical & Dental. She completed her medical degree in 2018 and attained her GP Fellowship in 2024. Dr Mary trained as an intern and resident at St George and Sutherland Hospital before undertaking general practice training, including an extended skills term in sexual health.

Dr Mary has been working in the Sutherland Shire since graduating and is very familiar with, and deeply connected to, the local community. She takes a thorough, respectful, and patient-centred approach to care and is passionate about supporting patients across a wide range of health needs.
