🔸️Introducing Dr Kamrun Dina to Tahmoor Medical Centre.

Dr Kamrun Dina is a GP Registrar in general practice training, building on a solid foundation from her AMC Certification and initial experience as a senior Resident Medical Officer at Campbelltown Hospital.

Her early career in the Australian healthcare system has provided broad exposure to primary and acute care, informing a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to patient needs.

In her GP training, she focuses on women’s health, paediatrics, mental health, travel medicine, and preventative health, with a commitment to delivering comprehensive, compassionate care.

Dr Dina values empathetic communication, continuous learning, and collaborative care. She actively pursues professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and guidelines, aiming to empower patients to take an active role in their health.

Introducing Dr Suparna Barua to Tahmoor Medical Centre.

Dr Suparna Barua is a qualified GP, recognised by the Australian Medical Board.

She completed her MBBS and internship overseas before achieving her Australian Medical Council (AMC) certification.

With extensive training and ongoing professional development, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Her special interests include women’s health, mental health, chronic conditions, preventive care, children’s health and care for older adults.

Dr Suparna speaks English, Bengali, and Hindi and is passionate about providing clear and compassionate care for every patient.

🩺Introducing Dr Mendis Appu Prasath to Tahmoor Medical Centre!

👨‍⚕️Dr Prasath graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, with an MBBS in 2011 and holds an MSc in Biomedical Informatics.

With over 13 years of experience, he is a highly experienced GP with a special interest in chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and emergency care.

He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP[INT]) and is currently a candidate for Fellowship with the RACGP.

Dr Prasath provides holistic care founded on respect, confidentiality, and compassion.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, reading, and music.

Speaks – English, Tamil, and Sinhala.

Introducing Dr Mariha Chowdhury to Tahmoor Medical Centre.

Dr Mariha Chowdhury is a GP registrar with over 15 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including extensive work as a Consultant O&G specialist in Bangladesh. She is currently pursuing her fellowship training with RACGP and holds an Advanced DRANZCOG qualification.

Dr Mariha completed her MBBS in 2009 and went on to obtain the FCPS (O&G) in 2015. She also holds fellowships from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Indian Academy of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her qualifications are complemented by training in laparoscopic surgery, infertility, medical ultrasound and diabetology.

She is experienced in managing a wide range of gynaecological and reproductive health conditions, including pregnancy care, menopause, contraception, infertility and chronic gynaecological issues. She is skilled in performing procedures such as Mirena and Implanon insertions/removals, tubal ligation, cystectomy and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Mariha has a strong interest in women’s health, reproductive medicine, preventive health, family planning and complex obstetric care. She continues to participate in teaching, CPD, and academic presentations, and was recognised with the Shan S. Ratnam Young Gynaecologist Award at the AOFOG Congress.

She speaks English, Bangla, Hindi, and Urdu, and is committed to providing patient-centred care that is both evidence-based and empathetic.
