A home designed with your individual creativity in mind is more than a home – it’s a heart centre. Creating from the heart and understanding the effect energy has on your space has driven all of her work as creative director for the diverse range of projects that sit under the Shannon Fricke brand.

Shannon’s work as an interior designer and stylist has been captivating readers across the media landscape in Australia and around the globe. Her work regularly appears in magazines and newspapers such as as Home Beautiful, Inside Out, Country Style, Real Living, Elle Decoration UK, Elle Decor Denmark, Marie Claire and Bolig Liv. Her dedicated community of design followers have tuned into her work on Channel 10’s The Living Room. She has presented over 60 episodes of the award-winning design programme HOME on the LIfestyle Channel as well as Postcards from HOME and House Guests.

Her books, Sense of Style: Colour and Sense of style: Space have been translated into Dutch, Danish, Spanish, Finnish and Chinese. Her latest book, How To Decorate has been published in Australia and the USA through Penguin and Random House.

Shannon is co-owner of Newrybar Merchants – a collective of local, creative artisans and purveyors of fine goods from the Byron Bay region and beyond. Alongside her co-merchants, Shannon has created a unique environment, enabling customers to experience rustic charm effortlessly blended with sophistication within a beautiful and unique retail space.
