While resolutions often focus on a future

destination or something we think needs fixing,

intentions invite us to honour the journey we’re

already on. They give us space to realign with

who we’re becoming, one day at a time, without

pressure or comparison. This new year feels like a

quiet reminder that every day holds the chance

for a fresh start to move gently, choose what

matters, and create a life that feels honest,

grounded, and true to our values.

Time with family, happy moments, big laughs, and those

quiet in between memories that stay with you long after

the photos are taken.

We’ve soaked up every second in Esperance,

holding our people close and reminding ourselves what

really matters. Now we’re officially in South Australia,

making our way back to Melbourne, carrying all those

precious moments with us.

Grateful beyond words for family, for time, and for

memories that will live in my heart forever 🤍

fancy office… it was built in the sheds, built in the

moments where community meant everything.

And today, we’re showing up for one of our own.

Just before Christmas, a beautiful whānau in our

community lost their uncle a man who meant the world to

them. Instead of joy, they’re now navigating heartbreak.

And if there’s one thing we do around here,

it’s look after each other when life hits hard.

So I’m raffling off a bundle of second hand DLUXXBUXX

gear pieces that have been worn with pride,

carried good energy, and now get to carry even more meaning.

Okaaaay, so picture this:

I’m over in Tambellup, WA, rousing my little heart out,

driving my trusty car to work.

It’s early morning, life is good……AND THEN…..

Out of absolutely NOWHERE something in that car

wanted to fight me for custody of the steering wheel.

Bruh.

I went from Beyoncé in the driver’s seat to,

“HELP ME JESUS” in 0.4 seconds.

If anyone had seen me from the outside, they’d think I

was in there breakdancing, shadow boxing,

AND having a meltdown at the same time.

All I’m gonna say is… whatever the THING was…

👉🏽 it was uninvited

👉🏽 and it had the AUDACITY to appear while I was driving

I’m not telling you WHAT it was.

Alright fam, gather round because this one still cracks me up 😅

It was the end of the shearing season…

You know that time when you’ve been on the p**s all

season, eating bakery pies for breakfast, living off

Red bulls, and suddenly you check your account and

realise you’ve only got $600 to your name 💀

Most people would save that…
Invest it…
Pay a bill…

Not me.
My brain goes: “let’s go BALI.”

So me & the cuz booked the flight & accomodation

And the funniest part?

I only even had that money because I won the Kojonup novice Speed Shear that year.

grabbed the prize money, and instead of being responsible…

I YOLO’d it across the ocean.

I swear Bali wasn’t ready for us..

But honestly?

Best decision ever.
Zero planning.
Zero money.
100% vibes.
And memories I still laugh about today.

Moral of the story:

Sometimes the most random decisions turn into the best yarnz,

Would I recommend travelling overseas on $600 again?

Absolutely not.
Would I do it again?
…Probably 🤣

A seriously talented shearer, a sharp commentator, and

one of those all round good humans who’s always up for

a catchup and a laugh. Adam’s knowledge of the sport,

respect for the shed, and support for the next generation

really shows whenever he’s on the mic or in the crowd.

So good to catch up, share a moment, and be reminded

why this community is special it’s people like Adam who

help keep shearing growing strong.
