THIS WEEK AT TCAC 🩷

We have another exciting and activity-filled week ahead across all areas! 🎉 From delicious baking sessions 🍞 and creative craft activities 🎨 to energising exercise groups 💪 and fun games 🎲, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Our walking groups 🚶‍♀️ and gardening sessions 🌱 will help us soak up the fresh air, while sing-alongs 🎤, bingo, Uno and movie afternoons 🎬 bring plenty of laughter and connection. We’re also looking forward to bus outings 🚌, mystery drives, lawn bowls, and happy hour in the Piano Lounge 🍹.

Residents can enjoy relaxing hand pampering 💅, knitting and crochet groups 🧶, reading sessions 📖, and friendly competitions like football tipping and putt putt golf ⛳. The week wraps up with worship services ⛪, family time ❤️ and the exciting start of the NRL season 🏉 on Sunday night!

It’s wonderful to see so many opportunities for social connection, creativity, movement and joy throughout the week. We look forward to sharing these moments together! 💛

💛🐝This week at TCAC 🐝💛

We have another lovely week planned across our community, with a full program of activities to suit all interests and energy levels 🌸 From baking 🍞, gardening 🌼 and gentle exercise 🪑 to games 🎲, crafts 🎨, music 🎶 and social groups, there are plenty of opportunities to stay active, connected, and enjoy time together throughout the week.

A special highlight this Monday is a farewell morning tea ☕🍰 for our much-loved Wellbeing Coordinator, Jodie 💛. We invite residents, family and friends to join us as we come together to celebrate Jodie 🎉, share memories, and thank her for the care, kindness, and dedication she has shown our community 🤍. Morning tea will be held on Monday 9th February.

We look forward to another meaningful and enjoyable week with everyone 🌈

Welcome to this week at Tamworth Community Aged Care! 🌼

We have a full and varied week ahead, packed with fun, creativity, gentle movement, and social time 🤸‍♀️🎨🎶 From baking and games to exercise, crafts, music, and relaxation, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We encourage all residents to join in as much or as little as they like, reconnect with familiar favourites, and maybe even try something new 🌟

A lovely Day out at Oxley Scenic Lookout 🌞🚌

Some of our wonderful residents enjoyed a scenic bus trip filled with sunshine, great company, and stunning views. It was a warm day, but we found the perfect shady spot to relax and enjoy afternoon tea - complete with a fun "Hat Fruit Bowl" 🍎🍌

Smiles all around and memories made. What a beautiful way to spend the afternoon. 💛💛💛

Dear Friends
It is with much sadness that we say goodbye to our good friends Fillies N Colts from our Tamworth Community Care Cafe at the beginning of March 2026. We thank them very much for all of their support during their tenure and wish them all the very best in future endevours.
What this means is that the Cafe space will be up for tender - we are looking for a motivated business to support our Residents and team at Tamworth Community Aged Care, we are looking for 5-7 days a week services with weekends included. If this is something you are interested in exploring please come in and speak to our Residential Manager Mel.

🦘🏈 Australia Day Tamworth Community Aged Care 🦘

What a Ripper of a week !
Our residents kept busy crafting beautiful Australia Day decorations and getting into the spirit with some great activities - including plenty of laughs during our "Thong Throwing" competition ☺️
To top it all off, our wonderful chef Dan and his team treated everyone to a delicious Aussie lunch. Residents enjoyed marinated chicken thighs or classic beef rissoles, served with Garden salad, potato salad and coleslaw. 🍽
And of course, no Australia Day is complete without dessert - a crowd favourite Lamington Trifle that went down a treat.

Today at Tamworth Community Aged Care, We spent time coming together in connection and community.

It was a day filled with shared meals, music, conversation and plenty of smiles. We also took time to reflect, listen and acknowledge this day holds different meanings for different people.

Most of all, it was about being together - celebrating our residents, our team, and the diverse stories, cultures and experiences that make our community so special

This Week at TCAC 🎉🇦🇺

Get ready for an exciting and joy-filled week ahead! 😊
We’ll be celebrating Australia Day with special meals, decorations and themed activities 🇦🇺🎈, along with a wonderful mix of gentle exercises, baking and cooking 🍞, crafts, games, gardening 🌱, music and sing-alongs 🎶.
There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy movies, outings, gentle walks, relaxing hand pampering 💆‍♀️, morning teas ☕ and meaningful one-on-one visits 💬. With both group activities and quieter moments available, everyone is welcome to join in at their own pace.

We look forward to a week full of smiles, laughter and shared moments — come along and enjoy all the fun! ✨😊

What a fantastic week celebrating all things Country! Our residents have been treated to some wonderful entertainment from the special guests Geoffrey Graham, Two Gals, Sharon Benjamin, Merv Scanlon and the lovely Miss Jade - Who just happens to be the granddaughter of one of our residents 💛
A big shout out to our amazing wellbeing team and creative residents, who worked together to create our very own Golden Guitar 🌟🎸 What a brilliant effort and special way to mark the occasion.

🎵This Week at Tamworth Community Aged Care 🎵

This week is full of variety, connection, and fun across all areas 🌼 Residents can enjoy daily bread making, gentle chair exercises, and a mix of indoor and outdoor activities to suit all energy levels. Gardening features throughout the week in the Banksia courtyard, along with gentle walks, walking groups, and outings to the town centre.

There are plenty of social favourites on offer including bingo, UNO, trivia, cards, skittles, balloon and ball games, indoor golf, and carpet bowls. Creative and relaxed options include painting and colouring, craft sessions, badge making, knitting group, Australia Day art, and book, poetry, and short story readings. 🦘

Music and entertainment are highlights this week with sing-alongs, karaoke, visiting country artist Sharon Benjamin, Foxtel and cinema sessions, and classic Australian movies. Special experiences include virtual reality, mystery bus trips, a morning tea bus outing, ice-cream trolley visits, and program deliveries to all residents. 🚌☕️

Spiritual and wellbeing supports continue with Catholic and Uniting Church services, hand pampering sessions, and individual visits. Family connections are encouraged through resident and relative meetings, while quieter moments can be enjoyed with memory games, quizzes, and lounge activities. 💅🏽

There’s truly something for everyone this week — whether you’re feeling active, creative, social, or simply in the mood to relax and enjoy good company. 💛
