From the moment I met you Jake on that dusty night at the Marrabel Bullride... I knew there was something about you.

I seen you walk across the arena area earlier in the evening and I caught myself looking twice... that didnt happen ever with anyone.. I'm like that's odd. I wonder if I'll see him again.

Then on the dance floor you were right at the front near the band, I walked over and we officially met.

You said "hi, my names Jake." And we danced the night away, later, I got caught up in wire and you rescued me and took me to my friend's car. Left my hat on the dash and walked away.

I went home and a day later I had a friend request on Facebook, a week later we were chatting.

I later found out your age and tried to avoid you like the plague (he's a couple years younger than me and I'm like I can't do this, he must be so immature and reckless. (Wait a min that's actually me 😂😂😂.)

I didn't want that for myself. I had high standards and a lot of rules for myself after what I had experienced before Jake.

But you showed up consistenly and truly melted all my worries away. Proved to me time and time again that you were by my side through everything. And the rest is history.

Here's to 6 years of being your wife.
Over 7 and a half years ago you asked my dad if you could have my hand in marriage. At the exact place we met that absolute honour happened and was an immediate yes from me!
And you've been there for me every single day of the 3914 days (10y8m19d) without a doubt since we met ❤️ (through skydiving a few weeks into our relationship when you had never been in a plane before, to ziplining, jetboating, snorkelling, road tripping, camping and everything in between)

I look forward the incredible things we have in store for the year ahead. And for the rest of our days together on this planet.

You're everything to me and I love you with my whole heart and I love doing life with you! ❤️ ###

Found this old photo of my sister and me and couldn’t help but smile.. we’ve been through so many seasons together. And always had each other's back through everything ❤️

Fast forward to today, We started the morning with Pilates, then pottered around the shops, had lunch, and just enjoyed being together with the two little boys in tow.

Hubby was on call today and had a few call outs to go to, so having her pop her hand up to help was muchly appreciated.

These are the moments that remind me how much I value feeling strong, grounded, and able to keep up with life. To be in the moment and forget to take a photo cuz you're just chatting and submerging and feeling every moment. (There's just no time to capture) 😆

Because here’s the thing…
What if 4 weeks from now, you were 3kg lighter, your tummy more toned, your clothes slipping on easier —
and you actually felt lighter too?

More smiles. More calm mornings.
More energy to get sh*t done — and still enjoy your weekend.

You dont need to push harder and find time. You make time by finding a rhythm that fuels your body, mind, and mood.

And trust me, I get it.
This year I had one sick day — one! — and it almost killed me to cancel (cheers, gastro 😅).
But I show up every other day because this — the energy, the laughter, the strength, the connection — it’s what keeps me grounded through every season. This group has helped me more they they even know! 💥

That’s exactly what we do in my Saturday morning Pilates.
It’s my favourite hour of the week — part sweat, part soul revival.
I don’t ever want to go without it… it’s a need, not a want 😌

A common thread:
"I left class so energised I powered through all my housework in two hours… and still had the whole afternoon to relax."
That’s the kind of energy you want heading into Christmas.

4 weeks from now will come whether you do something or not.
Imagine being the one who already feels calm, confident, and strong in your skin by then.

Some clothes you just know the second you slide them on..
The way they hug your hips, the way your partner looks twice, the way you feel like damn, I'm back 🔥

It’s our 6 year wedding anniversary coming up, and yes… we're celebrating this year. There's a lot to celebrate behind the scenes I may share one day.
But honestly.. that spark, that closeness, that confidence.. it’s not just about the special occasions.
It’s built in the everyday moments.

Between the busy mornings, the kid chaos, and the “we’ll just connect later” seasons…
You learn to adapt. You learn to choose each other. Again and again.
And most importantly... you learn to choose yourself. 🔥

Because when you feel good in your body, you move differently... calmer with the little people in your life, you're cheekier with your partner, and you're stronger in how you carry yourself all day.

You flirt again. You walk past the mirror and smile.
You hold hands without thinking twice.

That’s just how it gets to be 24/7

No timelines. No waiting for “when life slows down.”
Just knowing you're worth it and making space for it ✨️

Anywho... I’m off to bed 7am Pilates won’t do itself and I already know how good that first stretch is gonna feel. ✨

There’s been seasons in my life where I’ve had every reason to give up.. losing my brother suddenly and tragically, navigating kids, my postpartum body twice, feeling like my body wasn’t my own anymore…

But I kept showing up anyway.
And by no means was it ever perfectly.. it was just consistently.
And that’s what rebuilt me to where I am today. It's where my strength, my confidence and my inner peace comes from.

So if you’ve been training, eating better, trying to do all the right things…
and your body still doesn’t feel like it’s responding like you would have hoped maybe it’s not about doing more.

Maybe it’s time to do it differently.
With intention. With rhythm.
With people who actually get it.
