If today feels heavier than it should… there’s an actual reason as to why.

I get it. Today felt heavy for me too (thanks grief for rearing your head badly today 👼)

By midweek, you may feel bloated, flat, the brain fog might be loud and you may be feeling disconnected from your body...even when they’re “doing all the right things.”

It’s not from having a lack of willpower.

It’s your body adapting after days of output without enough support back.

I had a client this week who made a few simple nutrition shifts and tidied up her movement — not eating less, not pushing harder, just being consistent — and within days her bloating eased and her weight began to move.

Me I leant into rest and relaxation mode. PT early with q long term client of 7+ years. Got all the big things out of the way early so I could focus on me and what I needed in the moment. And I felt 1000x better for it walking into class tonight smiling, laughing and having fun with my crew.

That's what happens when your body feels supported, it stops gripping and hanging on for dear life.

Not gonna lie… The last couple of weeks my nervous system has really taken a beating.

Stress. Anxiety. Heart palpitations and the grief of losing our angel baby 👼

The kind that make you wonder… is this the end of the line?

Nope. Not yet.

It was time to tune in.

To give my body exactly what it needs to feel safe again.
This weekend?

Sunshine on my skin.
Time outdoors.
Eating more than I have in weeks.
Resting. Really resting.

The last few weeks I’ve been very quiet, and I wanted to share why..

We have experienced the loss of our pregnancy — a heartbreak that has shaken us to our core. My nervous system feels pretty fried at the moment.

There are no words that can truly explain this kind of grief. It feels heavy and deeply unfair, and we’re taking things one day at a time.

Thank you to those who’ve checked in on us, and respected our privacy while we navigated something we never imagined we’d ever have to face. We appreciate it more than we can say.

Please know we’re okay, and we’re allowing ourselves to simply feel sad about this.

You’re doing all the “right” things… yet your weight won’t budge.

You wake up already tired.
Jeans feel tighter by lunch.
You snack without thinking and it's not because you’re hungry, but you just want the brain to switch off.
Your tummy feels bloated, arms feel soft, motivation craahes by 3pm.

You tell yourself you’ll “tomorrow will be better.”
From the outside it looks like inconsistency.
From the inside? It’s overload.

Here’s the part no one wants to hear 👇
Weight doesn’t come down when your body feels rushed, wired, or constantly “on.”

It holds onto. It protects. It clings.

So while you’re chasing:
👉 weight down
👉 tighter tummy, arms, legs, bum
👉 clothes fitting better
👉 fewer snack attacks
👉 more energy

Your body is quietly asking for something else.

And what actually moves the needle is this:
Not harder workouts — aligned ones.
Not perfect eating — consistent, grounded eating.
Not discipline — emotional regulation.
Not cutting everything out — feeling safe in your body again.

Because when you’re regulated:
✅️ cravings fade
✅️ energy stabilises
✅️ digestion improves
✅️ movement feels easier
✅️ weight starts to come off without force

And the real shift happens when you stop living from
“I should be doing better”

and start living from
“I’m the kind of person who shows up for myself.”

That’s when you feel lighter — mentally and physically.
That’s when clothes sit differently on your body.
That’s the way you feel sexy again — with your partner, holding hands, walking into a room, catching your reflection and actually liking it.

Most people never realise this is the missing piece.

They just keep pushing harder and wondering why it never lasts.

And I’ll just stop right there for now.. because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

At some point you stop looking for motivation and start moving from standards you set.

When you go through something major in life like losing someone so close to you like I have it really shakes you up to your core. And makes you realise the time truly is now.

It's all we have. No matter where you are at right now this.. is it.

I don’t negotiate with myself on normal days. I dont talk myself out of it.
I choose the option that supports me because that’s just who I am now. It's in my DNA. It’s me.

Even when I lost my brother i set incredible standards for myself to get me through each day. Because I needed to not only for my family and also myself.

This doesn't come from willpower or hyping myself up..

it comes from deciding that my actions need to match the person I expect myself to be.

That’s why confidence in your actions feels so different at this level.

It’s calm. It’s grounded. It doesn’t need validation from others... not even me.

you see it in the mirror.
you feel it in your clothes, your body and how you follow through.
and others feel it too.. even when you don’t say a word.
this work isn’t for everyone.
it’s for those who lead themselves first and do the work that's required because it matters.

This is the time to make it count. You only get one shot at this life.

Forget the New Years resolutions... If it's important for 2026... it's important for right now. 💥

The secret is learning what worked well for you in 2025, take note of what didn't and what held you back so that you can move forwards with confidence to CHANGE it.

Stop waiting. Stop the self doubt. Stop putting it on the backburner and please stop thinking that you are not worth it. Because you absolutely ARE worth it.

The only person standing in your way is you.

And when you choose to go against old habits to build new ones, old friendships that no longer serve who you want to become and you start properly prioritising what is truly important for you to succeed.

Time will collapse and you'll be living the new version of yourself in real time.
