What a beautiful morning spent crafting with such beautiful souls.

Together, we welcomed the creation and deepened the connection to these women’s newly birthed drums through crafting their drum be**ers, the bridge between hand and heartbeat.

Birthed on the same land, with carefully forged sticks and fibres woven with intention, each be**er carries the frequency these women have already connected with in their drums.

It was an absolute pleasure to introduce felting to this group, and such a gift to witness the unique creations that came through each pair of hands.
Every piece so different, yet all woven with such reverence and power.

This divine piece was brought together last night with a flow of beautiful intuitive guidance.

With the energy of the Peacock symbolizing beauty, renewal, and awakening and the energies of the hen pheasant deeply rooted in grounded nurturance,camouflage and quite resourcefulness brought a delightful balance between the two.

I'm really enjoying listening to the birds and what they want to bring for guidance into our daily lives.
It's often afterwards that the penny drops and I real eyes why they came forward to be birthed.

I'm also being blown away by my awesome community who are finding synchronicities and guidance though my pieces for themselves and in spaces they hold.

My work asks you to feel nature not just observe her, to connect and feel her joy and spirit, a tricky concept to be translated through a screen. 🤪

I feel deeply honoured to have created these two pieces for a dear brother.
Knowing they will continue their journey side by side, even beyond their final days in the Blue Mountains.

As I worked with his energy, the masculine came through strong, purposeful and bold, so steady in direction and grounded in action. I found myself embodying this as I moved through my days..

Then the feminine essence unfolded so differently… simple, soft, and beautifully unhurried. Making me move slowly with much patience..Together, they felt like balance. Like a devotion. Like a love that moves in harmony rather than force.

The spirit of the Crimson Rosella carries the frequency of passionate love and deep soul connection. She reminds us of the sacred cycles of the heart, of healing, nurturing, and the way nature mirrors our own interconnectedness.
A symbol of true love and radiant beauty, she calls us to stand in our inner strength and shine our unique light without apology.

May these two continue to travel as
one.

Hi, I'm Sophie the creator behind hEARTHum 💚
I'm an intuitive textile and nature artist whose work is deeply inspired by the rhythms and textures of the natural world.

Working with wool and ethically sourced animal fibres, I transform raw materials into tactile artworks and instruments.
Each piece honours the colours, patterns, and stories found in nature, inviting you to experience it through touch and sound, not just sight.

My creative process is shaped by lived experience, time spent on the land, and a genuine connection to animals and the environment. Stillness, observation, and care are at the heart of everything I create.
Every piece begins with clear intention and is completed with patience and respect for the materials.

Based on the Central Coast, I balance studio time with my son, singing, healing work, staying curious, travel, and continuing to build a meaningful relationship with the land around me.
From thoughtfully sourced items to the attention given during creation, each Heart Hum piece is made with purpose, something you feel the moment you hold it.
