We’re grateful for what you created. I along with our great leadership team Melissa Bergeron Kristin Martinelli are proud to continue the legacy. care, and leadership forward. Thanks for being an example for us all.

Ours begins with family. ❤️

Founded in 2004 in Corpus Christi, Texas, our name, Mir, comes from our founder, Frances Mary Mir, and honors her parents, Ben and Mary Alice Mir. Their values inspired Frances to build a company rooted in integrity, compassion, and hard work.🤝

The name Mir is not an acronym. It is a family name. And fittingly, Mir also means peace — a reflection of what we strive to bring every day: peace of mind during the challenges of aging, disability, and complex life transitions.

Today, Frances is retired, but her presence and guidance remain strong. She continues to be involved in the company, helping ensure her mission, standards, and heart for service are carried forward as we grow.

The Mir name represents not only where we began, but the values we continue to uphold: legacy, advocacy, excellence, and care without compromise.💛

🎵🎵Through research, reflection, and live performance, Austin musicians Ruthie Craft, Jo James, and Jace Cadle bring these concepts to life, sharing music that speaks to the many phases of grief and healing.

Today is the last day for early bird registration for the ALCA National Conference in Austin next month. In my 20 years with ALCA, this is only the 2nd time the National Conference has been in Texas.

Angela Thomas & Lina Supnet-Zapata are the Co-Chairs. They and their team have done a phenomenal job organizing and pulling together a great educational along with some fun relationship building activities.
