Isn’t it interesting how one sentence can make waves in an ocean.

The ocean being YOU.

One solitary compliment is all it takes for reducing stress, boosting self esteem and increasing our connection to ourselves and to those around us.

It’s not just the compliments that someone gives us, it’s also the compliments we give other and ourselves.

For example -
- You have really lovely skin
- That eyeshadow bring out your eyes
- I really like my hair today
OR
- I have so many gifts and I give myself credit for them
- You’re a really compassionate person
- I am a great communicator
And
- I love Myself
(no but and or’s should follow - there is no condition in an affirmation of Love for yourself or others)

It seems so simple doesn’t it, yet provides a profound movement within you, a catalyst for such growth.

Take the compliment AND Give the compliment.

An every moment of the day prescription of feel well, stay connected, increase self esteem & reduce stress ☺️

One of the most transformative experiences is to use reiki and meditation in an endeavour to heal our thinking.

Never trust your thoughts when your body is out of alignment.
Never trust your thoughts when you’re emotional or lacking emotions.
Never trust that the first thought is the right thought for reasons above.

When I’m thinking a thought I have a need to pass it through a filtration system.
How do I feel right now.
How is my emotional and physical body.
Has someone said something or is my body feeling something that will influence my thoughts. For too many years I’ve fallen under a guise and felt worse afterwards. 🫠🫠🥴🥴

If I don’t use the filtration of reiki and meditation then I am all sorts of catastrophic at Olympic levels 😂

When I had my first reiki I had questions than answers.
Meditation also gave me more questions than answers.

Journalling out all those questions allowed SPACE in my mind to evolve.
My thinking is clearer. Aligned to who I am becoming. Daily.

In this eclipse season my thoughts are wild. My dreams are wild.
Like all I’ve previously thought is now on replay. VHS style.
Like a bad sitcom with busted jokes at my expense.

I actually know I’m doing better than I’ve ever done before.
All thanks to reiki and meditation. I know that when my mind is a little skewed it’s best to just be kind and patient with myself.

Reiki is the best form of healing for me. Reiki has allowed me the grace to be patient, kind, loving. It balances my energy, clears energy inside me & also it’s relieving some of the pain I feel emotionally and psychologically with a little bit of analgesic pain relief.

According to studies meditation reduces activity of the sympathetic nervous system.

The sympathetic nervous system acts in moments of dangerous or stressful situations. Delivering blood and oxygen throughout your body propelling you forward to act and survive in those moments. All super normal.

The parasympathetic nervous system does the recovery work undoing what was done. 😅

This change can also highlight for us how stressed we are.

Have you ever noticed after a stressful situation we get the adrenaline rush, the shaking hands, sometimes hot flushes, yep!

When practised regularly meditation will lead to a slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, slower breathing, and muscle relaxation. A buyer understanding of ourselves.

Meditation does take you from one place to another and another.

Unlearning old outdated behaviours will help to rewire your brain. In turn then you’re operating at a new level.

Take regular naps 🐈 This is Salmon as our example 😇

We know that rejuvenating the mind & body is essential to our health and wellbeing.

Some days our replenishment can be exercising or it’s being social and some days it’s nothing. Some days are meant to be slow or still.

Be available to yourself by consciously choosing the uncomfortable moment of stillness. Allow it. Be irritated at sitting still. Be the over thinker. But let those irritations and thoughts pass. That’s how you find the ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. And the rays of sunshine become more. Allow yourself to experience the joy of polarities. Hone into who you are through discomfort and then joy.

Saturdays for some are busy, noted, but also on your quietest day find stillness and allow yourself time to rejuvenate.

Your whole body and mind will thank you.

I don’t know about you but finding time to unwind and breathe can sometimes be hard. What with our busy lives.

My go to is lighting some incense, turning some music on in the background and just lying in bed or sitting in a chair. Not doing anything in particular. No phone. No distractions.

Just 5 minutes is all that’s needed.

On a Sunday evening I find myself scrolling through my photos. Here’s some I’ve taken since Friday.

• Clouds in the early AM in what looks like eyelashes - hear me out 😆
• A flower that is probably a w**d but has more medicine than anything I’d buy at a store
• my daughters cat Salmon looking all suave but really he’s a little 😤😆😂
• Aries Full Moon showing off the power struggle between Me (moon Aries internal unconscious) and Us (Libra sun season conscious)

Now to some this is just mere photos & they’d be right however to me it’s gratitude.

Grateful that it has been a beautiful weekend!

🙏 Find your photos or similar & acknowledge their beauty and how they make you feel, bathe yourself with the insight & allow a sense of peace calm joy envelope you, knowing that tonight when you sleep your mind and body will fill with the immense feelings that in-still health.

And watch how when you wake up everything aligns - your vision (eyesight) is restored and balanced because you gave thanks 🙏 for a new perspective.

The most gorgeous experience last week with a client. All healers on deck during the healing process saw a beautiful lotus water and mud bath to cleanse them.

So grateful that they were able to cleanse, polish and begin their processing to enable clarity and peace from inside out. 🙏
