Isn’t it interesting how one sentence can make waves in an ocean.
The ocean being YOU.
One solitary compliment is all it takes for reducing stress, boosting self esteem and increasing our connection to ourselves and to those around us.
It’s not just the compliments that someone gives us, it’s also the compliments we give other and ourselves.
For example -
- You have really lovely skin
- That eyeshadow bring out your eyes
- I really like my hair today
OR
- I have so many gifts and I give myself credit for them
- You’re a really compassionate person
- I am a great communicator
And
- I love Myself
(no but and or’s should follow - there is no condition in an affirmation of Love for yourself or others)
It seems so simple doesn’t it, yet provides a profound movement within you, a catalyst for such growth.
Take the compliment AND Give the compliment.
