This is another recent beautiful review from a wonderful mumma I journeyed with for a number of months. She has done a remarkable job with a number of challenges along the way and it has been so wonderful watching her thrive and grow in confidence as her gorgeous little boys’ mumma 💜👏👏
You are an inspiration 🥰😊

For support in your postpartum you can dm me on Instagram. Or use the contact form on my website and I will be in touch. www.earlydazedoula.com.au

Thank you to this lovely mum and her lovely review! I had the privilege of working with after the birth of her first baby.

Support was given in all aspects from breastfeeding, to safe sleep practices, to lots of baby info from trusted and evidence based resources, to supporting her practically while she recovered and slept, to help around her home.

Her patience and kindness are also worth mentioning after I had to leave to return to the Uk for a family emergency and her continued support by keeping me on as her postpartum doula - thank you Becca! 🙏🏼💜

I am currently working with another family in Sydney until mid April but if you are looking for postpartum support after that please get in touch. I would be happy to chat to see if I can support your postpartum journey.

It has been such a joy and privilege to work alongside this wonderful mum for the past 12 weeks. 💜💜

It was so bittersweet saying goodbye today however knowing that she is such a thoughtful, instinctive mum for her baby boy and is walking on a solid foundation of resilience, inner strength and learning. I will miss you Alana! 🥰💗

For mums out there who would like support in their journey into parenthood or an extra set of supportive hands with subsequent children please get in touch. 📞

I get to travel across a lot of Sydney in my role as a postpartum doula. All are interesting but there is just something special about being able to see the sea. 💜

This beautiful girl has finished her last exam today! Woohoo. 🥳.
If you are wondering where I have been, as I’ve been pretty quiet on socials, I have been supporting her both emotionally and practically as family always comes first for me. 🧡.
This has not been an easy ride but I could not be prouder of her resilience and commitment to working hard.
She now takes a year off to think about what comes next (whilst getting a job and doing some travelling!) 😜. And we can all breathe 🤩🥰.

I’m a bit late posting about World Breastfeeding Week due to being focused on Year 12 HSC Trials! Family comes first 😉
However I didn’t want it to go by without acknowledging this very important week. The theme is ‘Closing the gap- Breastfeeding support for all’. There have been strides made towards this but there is still a way to go.
*Closing the gap means all health professionals receive initial and ongoing PD in breastfeeding to ensure equitable help for all, not a hit and miss system.
*Closing the gap means ensuring that mums breastfeeding goals are heard, honoured and supported in hospitals in the labour room and postnatal wards. That mums are now leaving hospital on unsustainable triple feeding plans that leave them exhausted and with little time to rest and enjoy their babies.
*Closing the gap means adequate funding into antenatal breastfeeding information programs for parents to be to learn what they need to know before having their baby!
*Closing the gap means that all employers know and understand their responsibilities and the law to support mums returning to work who want to continue to breastfeed.
*Closing the gap means equitable support across all cultures and especially our indigenous peoples. This means training and funding for workers who support this families both in metro and rural and remote areas.

Whilst much has been done there is still a long way to go and this is why this week is important to raise awareness in. Long term health and the environment are two other good reasons as well. 🧡
