Bush babyz family daycare will be closing at the end of 2024 to under school age children but still operating for before and after school care from tiaro state school

The last 13 years of family daycare (18years in childcare) have been an amazing and very rewarding journey, I’ve met some amazing people and even more amazing children and watched them grow into the beautiful young people they are today and formed some lifelong friendships with their families

With the ever growing ridiculous paperwork the government continuing to implement it’s taking away from what family daycare was truly meant to be and I no longer wish to be on that ship
It was a hard decision to make but I didn’t join family daycare to drown in paperwork I joined to provide children with a safe space and a unique learning environment and experiences which is getting harder as more time passes and regulations continue to change to make it harder

I thank everyone who has ever been apart of bush babyz family daycare for choosing to trust me to care for and teach your amazing children I love them with all my heart

On to a new journey for me with our farm and fencing business

Best wishes for the future for everyone and I hope it brings everything you ever strive for :)

We are at full capacity for the remainder of 2023 and currently booked out for 2024….
If you are still seeking a position we do have a waiting list so get ur name down on this to be offered any positions that come available

We do have casual positions available for when there are absences these are on a call on basis so if this is something you are interested in also they can be put on this list for call ins immediately 🙂

Circumstance can change for my families at any time so positions can come available from time to time so I encourage people to go on the waiting list if you are after positions as you never know 🙂

I love being able to share our farm and everything that goes with it with the children they sure learn a lot and different life experiences like our current one… bottle feeding and orphan lamb

It’s a long way ahead but bush babyz will have some very limited vacancies come up for 2024 as we farewell two of our long time bush babyz to school 🙂
Please remember I do not take babies under 12 months anymore sorry

The only options left are to be put on a causal call in list when permanent children are absent or the waiting list

After much thought the decision has been made to close my books to children under 12 months old
Children this age come with a whole different level of care and legislative requirements around their care which I am no longer wishing to offer
If your child is under this age and you require care please contact rainbow kidz fdc
I still have an extensive waiting list for over the age of 1 if you wish to be put on this list please let me know and you will be contacted if/when spaces come available

"Steve's Farewell will be Monday, 24th January at 2pm
LifeChurch, 68 Gayndah Road, Maryborough West.
Friends and family that would like to gather after the service
are welcome at the farm. 2331 Mungar Road, Tiaro.
All welcome. Funeral notice will be posted soon."

Some pretty sad news on Tuesday 12/1/22 one of our former daycare families had a tragedy occur Steve Bottcher’s boat capsized in the flooded mary river at tiaro and sadly he passed away. I had his daughter from a young age right through to school and they were always very good to me.
I pass on my condolences to the family, our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time

A strange sight at our house today our chook has been working hard to hatch ducklings for our neighbour and yesterday she succeeded with 6 healthy babies 🙂
We gave them such gentle pats and checked out their cute little feet, wings and tail
The children think they are just so cute and we can’t wait to see them swim around in their bath 🙂
