I’ve kicked things off with a raw mango cheesecake and honestly… I feel like I deserve a medal already 😂
It’s safely tucked away in the freezer until Christmas Day, which means one less thing to stress about when everything gets crazy busy.

🌿 Garden Glow-Up! 🌿

A few of you have been asking how my little pot garden is going… so here she is in all her jungle glory 😍

This whole side of the house has turned into a full-on tropical corridor. The bananas are going absolutely wild, and tucked in among them you can spot the mulberry and our newest addition — the papaya, already loving life and putting out fresh growth 🍃✨

And yes… EVERY single thing you see is growing in pots.
Pilbara heat? Rocky ground? Renting? Doesn’t matter — this garden is proof you can still grow real food wherever you are. Big pots, great soil, shade when needed, and a very committed watering routine at strange hours 😂

It’s honestly become one of my happiest spots at home. A tiny food forest right outside the window, and watching how fast everything grows up here is crazy.

If you want tips for container gardening in Karratha, just yell out — if I can grow bananas, mulberry AND papaya in pots… anyone can! 💚🌱

Our Story

🌿 My name is Lana and I am the person behind Barefoot Creations. I have two little helpers that like to pack bags and be involved in my business also and my husband Leon does well above his fair share to help me out ( Whilst he keeps our household running also!). I have always had a keen interest in alternative options and thinking outside the square. I have used natural alternatives for as long as I can remember and I was bought up repurposing items and recycling where possible. I grew up on home grown veggies and have always loved growing and making my own products. Barefoot Creations was formed as I wanted access to products that I found hard to get hold of and I wanted to use my experience to share alternatives that are sustainable, natural and organic where possible. These are the 3 loves of my life and what drives me to get out of bed every day and make a difference. If you are just starting out on your natural journey or are well into making changes we are all learning so lets all enjoy the journey together 🌿
