I went out for my first FULLY SOLO spin today. 😎🏍️🙌 (I rode home from Learner’s Night last night but my son escorted me on the way down to the PCYC so I’m not counting that). 🙅‍♀️🙃

Out for a bit over an hour and I thought I was doing quite well until the fingers on my right hand started to tingle. 😳 Oops, maybe I was feeling a tad more anxious about the solo adventure than I realised and thus was holding on tighter than necessary. 😜

All was fine after a hand shake and finger wiggle, plus a deliberate reset of my shoulders and arms to a softer position. 🧘‍♀️😮‍💨

For the route, I did a couple of laps of Prince Henry Drive and through the estate; across Cohoe Street at the top of the range and up to Picnic Point; down to Mackenzie Street to tackle the roundabouts 😜 where I executed the most beautiful exits 🤩 (with consistent speed and smooth throttle control 💃) if I do say so myself. 😉 Back to the north side of town via Bridge, Mary and North Streets.

A perfect outing topped off with a good day at work. 🦹‍♀️
