They listened to my point of view and understood my concerns and where I was coming from as they have had more then there share of experience with support workers in their own home. Lived Potential found the right support worker to fit our needs. I would and do recommend Lived Potential to every Family that needs to find the right fit for their loved ones.
They took the time to meet my child to understand her and what her requirements are for the perfect support worker before approaching us with the perfect fit.

Today is R U OK? Day, a reminder to check in on those around you. A simple conversation can make a huge difference. Did you know that people with mental health concerns and disabilities are disproportionately affected by su***de? And people with disabilities are almost twice as likely to experience suicidal thoughts, and those with mental health conditions face an even higher risk.

If you're struggling with poor mental health, remember that self-care is essential. Whether it's going for a walk, practicing mindfulness, or simply talking to someone you trust—friends, family, or support workers—reaching out can make a big difference. Asking for help isn't a sign of weakness; it's a step towards healing.

Lived Potential's director Shannon and their coordinator of care and support, Maddie... are always available for a yarn if needed. Reach out via phone call or text 0427 026 261, email shannon@livedpotential.com.au, madelyn@livedpotential.com.au or Beyondblue.org also offer an online chat service or 24/7 telephone support service as well - 1300 22 4636.

You don't have to face poor mental health alone—there's always someone ready to listen and support you.
