Hungry Runner We offer coaching for running, trail running and triathlon, and organise weekly group runs.

Our experienced coaches provide motivational and evidence-based programs tailored to all levels of experience for anyone aspiring to achieve their running goal or just have fun. From entry level to ultra-endurance athletes, Hungry Runner’s commitment to the individual is second-to-none. Our philosophy on coaching is quality training combined with great support. The many layers of athlete development are often overlooked by generic online training programs, however Hungry Runner’s strict attention to detail and individual goals provide a premium service.

April is a big month with several race opportunities, so our focus shifts slightly: stay sharp, stay fresh, and keep progressing πŸ’₯

This month is about balancing performance and training, keeping racers ready to perform, while continuing to build speed, mechanics, and high-end aerobic fitness for everyone else.

TUESDAY – Speed (Road)
πŸ•” 5:45pm – V8 Circuit, Railway Estate

Focus: Sharpness & high-end speed
Two session options:
β€’ Racers β†’ stay fresh and sharp for race day
β€’ Non-racers β†’ quality work above threshold + Running mechanics

THURSDAY – Trails

Focus: Flow
Relaxed, continuous trail running with short uphill efforts to maintain strength and rhythm without building fatigue.

SATURDAY – Squad (Ultimate & Racing coached athletes)

Focus: Individualised load & race preparation
Sessions are adapted to each athlete’s goals and upcoming races.
Racers stay fresh, while others continue to build with targeted work.

SUNDAY – Long Run

Focus: Aerobic endurance
Steady long runs to maintain endurance and support consistency across a busy racing month.
