Looking for something nourishing to do for yourself tomorrow with your kids in tow?
Bring Your Kids Yoga is on Monday's at 9.30am Traralgon. Parents who've come along so far say it's been a lovely way to start their week. I love it too! 🤗
Each session is $20 which includes the class and entry to the play centre for your little one(s) and afterwards you can stick around and have a coffee and more playtime if you wish.
I'm looking forward to leading the practice tomorrow while your kids enjoy having a play with Whitney in the play centre or trying out some yoga poses alongside you. 🧘‍♀️

Hey everyone,
For those interested, I'll be running yoga/pilates classes for parents at Parkys Playcentre in Term 3 with my lovely friend Whitney.
Kids are welcome to attend and play in the play centre or practice alongside you, and there will be an opportunity to stay and order coffee/tea and play afterwards 😁
If you're interested or know anyone else who might be, you can book via Expansion Yoga website or contact me for any other questions.
We will begin sessions Monday 10th July at 9.30am - 10.15am.

**BRING YOUR KIDS CLASES**
They're Back!

With a new location for this special & fun classes at Parky's Play - 5353 Princes Hwy, Traralgon

Bring your kids classes provide an opportunity for parents to enjoy a yoga practice while their children play in the adjoining play centre, or watch alongside. Ran by teahcers, Courtney Hade and Whitney Barry who will both be in attendance each week.
One teacher will run the session whilst the other interacts and helps your precious ones in the ajoining indoor playground centre.
Both Courtney and Whitney are mothers themselves with there children joining in each week and both have there Working with Childrens.

These 45 minute classes will be held offsite at Parkys Play Centre Traralgon, and are suitable for beginners, women who are postnatal and those with children aged 0 - 5.

Each session aims to provide some time to reconnect, energise and simply have some fun moving your body in a supportive community environment.

All bookings can be made via the Expansion Yoga & Pilates app

Breathing with intention is one of the most simple, yet powerful things we can do to bring about greater love for ourselves and others.
Try taking 3 deep breaths, fully aware of the air moving in through your nostrils, filling up your belly, ribs and lastly your chest. Pausing slightly, before emptying your lungs, allowing the breath to soften any tension.
I love this reminder to breathe with love, to make the often automatic act of breathing something conscious. Try it, and see if you notice a change in your energy perhaps how you feel about yourself or those around you. 💗

I found this to be a beautiful, simple practice to start or end the day. Sit, take a mudra, close the eyes and let the rest be taken care of. 🧘‍♀️

Mudra is a Sanskrit word that can mean seal or gesture, which is used in conjunction with the breath to affect energy flow and mood. 🙋‍♀️

Here, Apan Vayu Mudra accompanies a five-minute meditation to help deepen breath connection and open the heart space. 💗

The practice ends with this positive intention that you can carry through to your day or evening. 👇

🧘‍♀️Each practice begins with the breath🧘‍♀️
Closing down the eyes, drawing inwards, just noticing the natural rise and fall. Hand to heart, hand to belly. In and out.

Nothing fancy, simply breathing.

"I am breathing in, I am breathing out."

I start each morning this way, and each yoga class. Sitting or lying down. Wherever is comfortable.

With an in breath, the mind is bought back to the body.

It's a chance to reconnect. To release attachment to the chatter of the mind, let thoughts of the past or future come and go.

In this space, we don't need to "do" anything. Except surrender to this moment.

In this moment, breathing mindfully, you become alive in the here and now.

What a beautiful opportunity to set an intention for the day! Let this intention guide you through your yoga practice, and flow through your day.

Choose the energy you wish to transmit.

Feel it within, and express it out.

Trust that you have the power to shape how you see, feel and be in this world.

It all starts with the breath.💗

Welcome to the land of love for all things yoga! I'm super excited to soon complete Level 1 200 Hours yoga teacher training and begin offering soul nourishing classes in Traralgon at a gorgeous local studio. For now I'm creating a space online to share yoga as a way of life and look forward to connecting with you on the mat soon to help bring balance, love and light into your life. 🙏
