Ultrasound is a fast, safe way to look inside the body without radiation.

At , our doctors use bedside (informal) ultrasound to help assess pain and swelling, support urgent decisions, and guide procedures like IV cannulation and nerve blocks for pain relief.

If a formal ultrasound is needed, we’ll provide a referral and help organise the appointment with local imaging providers.

Did you know antibiotic infusions can help stop infections before they escalate? 🤔

Unlike oral antibiotics, they go directly into the bloodstream, providing faster relief and helping you avoid a trip to the emergency department.

P.S. No referral required. Our emergency physicians will assess you and, if suitable, prescribe and administer an IV infusion, then arrange follow-up (often with oral antibiotics). Referrals from your GP or dentist are welcome, but not necessary.
