You don’t have to sit in a quiet room and meditate to calm your nervous system.

You can do this anywhere - in the car, in the shower, or even on a scary, rocky boat ride (don’t ask me how I know 😉).

If you can talk, you can hum. And if you can hum, you have a built-in tool to regulate your stress instantly.

In my last reel, I showed you how to do it. Here are 5 Scientific Reasons why it works:

1. Vagal Stimulation- Your vocal cords sit directly next to the Vagus Nerve. Vibration mechanically stimulates the nerve, signaling “safety” to your brain.

2. Nitric Oxide Boost: Humming increases nasal nitric oxide by 15-fold! This helps increase blood flow and oxygen efficiency.

3. Extends the Exhale: You can’t hum while inhaling. Humming forces a long, slow exhale, which directly signals the body to relax.

4. Internal Massage: The vibration loosens tight fascia and tissues in the throat and chest that hold tension.

5. Pattern Interrupt: The physical sensation of vibration forces your brain to focus on the body instead of racing thoughts.

Try it right now: Close your eyes. Hum for 3 breath cycles. Notice the shift?

Save this list for your next “rocky boat” moment - whether literal or metaphorical. 📌

Did you know you have a physical “on/off switch” for anxiety/relaxation/grounding? 🧠✨

It’s called the Vagus Nerve, the longest cranial nerve in your body. It connects your brain to your heart, lungs, and gut, acting as the captain of your “Rest and Digest” system.
When you are stressed, your Vagus Nerve tone drops. In this Reel, I’m showing you two ways to stimulate it using vibration & frequency:

1. Humming (Internal Vibration):
Your Vagus Nerve passes right by your vocal cords. When you hum, the internal reverberation massages the nerve from the inside out. Plus, humming usually extends your exhale, which signals safety to the brain.

2. Tuning Fork (External Vibration):
A weighted tuning fork acts like a laser beam of frequency. By placing the stem on the sides of your neck, sternum or collarbone, we send a precise vibration through the bone directly to the nerves, bypassing the busy mind and relaxing the body instantly.

And as a bonus you can always combine both ;)

Have you ever worked with sound frequency for stress? Let me know! 👇

*If it’s awkward - it’s working*
What you think is “embarrassing” in a sound session is often your body’s way of saying thank you and it’s actually a compliment to your therapist:
Belly grumbles, deep snores, twitches, or tears - they’re all signs that your system is softening, releasing, and coming back into balance.
No need to apologise, this is healing in motion. 🤍

What drives your choices? the frequency of fear or love? What does it even mean and why is it so important ?
Read all about it in my new blog post..

Ever notice how some choices feel light and others feel tight? It’s often because one comes from love, the other from fear. In this piece, I explore how fear quietly drives so many of our decisions - and how sound can help us pause, reset, and come back to ourselves before we choose again.

I always say it takes two to tango – but when it comes to sound healing, you can absolutely dance on your own ;)

This little demo shows how simple it can be to use a singing bowl on yourself.
Just lie down, place the bowl on your body, tap it gently, let it sing… and breathe.

One or two minutes is all it takes to shift your energy – to ground, settle, and soothe your nervous system.

You don’t need a big setup or fancy routine – just you, your breath, and a bowl that knows how to sing for you 🎶

Instagram vs. Reality

It looks so peaceful in the video…
but last night’s outdoor sound bath was full of challenges to overcome.

Between gusting winds, dogs running around (one even stole my drum mallet 🙃), and a helicopter hovering overhead (twice!), it was harder than usual to stay calm and centered.

So no, it wasn’t the most “relaxing” or “deep” sound bath I’ve ever held, but it taught me so much:

✨ Acceptance – letting go of control when things don’t go as planned.

✨ Adaptability – changing direction gracefully, again and again.

✨ Consistency – showing up fully, even when I really wanted to give up.

✨ And respect for Mother Nature – who clearly wasn’t a fan of my gong yesterday (she knocked it down. repeatedly).

But above all, it reminded me of the power of community and stillness - because even with all the chaos, people still found a way to relax, laugh, and enjoy the simple things: the sunset, good company, healthy snacks, and those brief moments of sound-led stillness.

Thank you for letting me facilitate this beautifully imperfect event. 🌿🌅

Turning 45 feels… full.
Full of gratitude for what sound has given me: calm, clarity, strength, connection.
So instead of celebrating me, I want to share the gift sound has brought into my life and help others discover it for themselves.

💫 I’m offering 45% off private sessions for anyone new to one-on-ones with me, booked during October.
(code: BDAY45)

You can book online using the code, or simply get in touch to schedule directly - whatever’s easier.

If you’ve been curious to explore how sound can help you unwind, reset, and reconnect - this is your gentle nudge.

And to my regulars (you know who you are 😉), thank you for growing with me.
When you come in this month, let’s share a cup of ceremonial cacao together.
My treat, from the heart.

TL;DR

I’m fighting off the self-doubt voices and launching a new Facebook group called The Resonance Circle.
This circle was created for those who want more than quick updates or event reminders - a place to go deeper, explore, and connect between sound bath sessions and beyond. It’s a supportive space to share experiences, ask questions, and follow your curiosity.

Nothing is too small, too big, or too woo-woo to bring into this circle - all questions and reflections are welcome.

This little poem has been one of my favourites for a long time.

It feels so true to my own journey. Beauty, growth, healing - none of it follows the timeline we set in our minds.
It unfolds in its own time, sometimes impatiently slow, sometimes out of sync with what we think we need. Inconsiderate almost, and yet deeply loving.

It’s a reminder I return to often: to trust the process, to soften into the rhythm of the heart instead of the rhythm of the clock. To take a deep breath.

Because the most beautiful things in life don’t arrive on demand - they arrive when they’re ready.

This is my own translation of a poem by Daniela Spector — hopefully I’m doing it justice.

I missed my guitar…
Ever since I started my journey with sound healing I was busy learning how to play so many instruments and completely forgot about my guitar.

Today I had the urge to take it outside and just play and sing to myself and boy it felt so good.

So many beautiful memories are attached to this guitar - from friendships to grief and recovery/healing, this guitar have seen it all.

I’m not the best player (I was never able to study past the basic chords), I’m not the best singer (I can carry a note but that’s about it), but whenever I pick it up - it all just flows intuitively (not perfectly , but perfect for what I need). I guess that’s the gyst of sound healing ;)
