We are currently seeking casual Female Disability Support Workers to assist individuals with disabilities in Lawnton, Brisbane, and surrounding areas.

My Disability Care is a Registered NDIS Provider. We are a growing company with offices in Brisbane and Hervey Bay.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:
*Experience dealing with participants with complex mental health
issues
*Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support or another related field (or currently studying)
*Ability to work outside of school hours
*Experience working with children and adults providing in-home
and community access support
*Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
*Own reliable transport with full comprehensive insurance and current registration (mandatory)

Mandatory requirement
- Successful applicants will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from NDIS Workers Screening, NDIS Orientation Module, Working with Children Check (Blue card), and in some circumstances National Criminal History check.
JOB TYPE: Casual
SALARY: $34.44/hr + plus applicable penalty rates

Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs.
- Provide in-home and community access support for both children and adults.
- Assist with personal care as required.
- Follow a rotating roster and adapt to the needs of the clients.

Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III/IV in Disability or Individual Support (or a related field or studying).
- First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to work outside standard school/business hours.
- Current driver’s license (mandatory).
- Own transport

Mandatory Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Orientation Module.
- 100 points of ID verification
- National Criminal History Check (in some cases)

Female Casual Disability Support Worker - ASD (Non-verbal) Experience

Job description
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced (or willing to learn) female support worker to join our team and provide 24/7 care for a lovely lady with ASD Level 3. She is non-verbal and may occasionally engage in self-harming behaviors as a way of self-soothing.

Position Details:
This role requires ongoing support across multiple shifts, including personal care, in-home assistance, and companionship.

About the Role: Casual Support Worker (Keperra)
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $33.28 per hour (plus applicable penalty rates)
Shift Timing: 24/7 (Rotating Roster)
Work Location: In-person

Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care
- In-Home Support
- Meal Preparation
- Behavior Management

Requirements
• Driver’s License: Must have a valid license and own transport (mileage reimbursement available).
• Experience: Previous experience in personal care and community support is highly valued.
• Personal Attributes: Empathetic, patient, and proactive in delivering high-quality care.

Mandatory Requirements
Certifications & Clearances:
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Orientation Module

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent support.
