This OT Week, we celebrated more wonderful Occupational Therapists in Newcastle and Albury who help people do what matters most, in ways that are meaningful, practical, and empowering.
OT's don’t just support recovery, they enable people to participate in the everyday activities that bring purpose and joy. Whether it’s working, parenting, playing, or simply living well, OT's make it possible.
“Occupational therapy promotes health and wellbeing by supporting participation in meaningful occupations that people want, need, or are expected to do.” – WFOT, 2025
Here’s to our OT's — the everyday enablers of independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Celebrating OT Week with Connection, Community & Lunch !
Today, a group of our wonderful Occupational Therapists from Wagga Wagga came together over lunch to celebrate OT Week, a time to reflect on the impact of our work and the communities we serve. From seasoned professionals with over 30 years of experience to newer team members just a few years into their careers, table was full of stories, laughter, and a shared passion for making a difference.
A special shoutout goes to Sheree Scott, who also marked an amazing milestone this week - 15 years with RehabCo.. woo hoo! Sheree’s anniversary falls during OT Week, making this celebration even more meaningful. She’s in the photo we’re sharing today, surrounded by colleagues who’ve walked alongside her in delivering regional OT services and supporting the wellbeing of the communities we live and work in.
Our team’s diversity in experience is one of our greatest strengths. It means we’re constantly learning from each other, blending wisdom with fresh perspectives to provide holistic, person-centred care. Whether it’s helping someone return to work, adapt their home environment, or build confidence in daily life, our OT's are united by a deep commitment to empowering others.
Here’s to our amazing OT's - past, present and future - and the communities that inspire us every day.
