ERYT 1500 Senior Level 6 registered yoga teacher. Just as we can look into a still body of water and clearly see reflections of all that is surrounding it, so too when we hold ourselves with a quality of presence, we reflect clarity and stillness.

There is something magical about the stillness required for water to allow reflection.

Nature powerfully show us the beauty, strength, sensitivity and delicateness we are within. Every quality we feel and see resides already in us and we can align at any moment and live in respect to All that is within ✨

Instead the opposite can be felt when we get overrun by thoughts 🤯and get emotional 🥹 We are no longer the clearly reflecting surface of being, we are more like a turbulent, tumultuous sea 🌊 We are feeling these differing qualities in and around us 24/7 🌧️ ☀️

Every moment is therefore an opportunity to re-connect to our natural state of being and reflect the soulful qualities of truth, love, harmony, stillness and joy that are equally within us.

Worldwide Registry of RYTs and RYSs

Yoga Alliance® also known and trading as “Yoga Alliance International Australia®” (registered trademarks) is a division organisation owned by the Yoga Alliance Group Ltd with headquarters in Oceania, Europe (UK) and the U.S. The Yoga Alliance owns various Yoga Alliance Organisations worldwide.

The Yoga Alliance® Group was established by world-renowned yogis from the UK, the U.S, Italy, India and Australia direct scholars of Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, Derek Ireland and the late Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar.

As of to date, Yoga Alliance® (International/Australia) has been involved with high profile world-wide Yoga events such as “The World Yoga Summit” Beijing 2016, “The Ignite Yoga Summit” Sydney 2017, the “International Yoga Festival” Rishikesh 2018-2019 and next edition 2020, just to mention a few.

January 2017 implementation PLUS STANDARDS

In January 2017, Yoga Alliance® (International Australia) was the FIRST Alliance to update its Standards system based on the proliferation of low quality yoga teacher training, and inadequately trained yoga teachers. Updates were made after receiving input from many member schools, renowned yoga experts and yoga teachers from every corners of the world!

New Standards “PLUS”

The new Standards “RYS- 250 PLUS”, “ RYS-500 plus” “RYT-250 PLUS” “ERYT-250 PLUS AND “ERYT-500 PLUS” were designed to sets a new benchmark in yoga education in Australia and internationally. *These new credentials are the very best for yoga teachers!

April 2018 implementation new Professional Credentials “ RYS/RYT-YIN”

In April 2018, Yoga Alliance® (International/Australia) was yet again the FIRST Alliance to create and made available to the yoga community of schools and teachers worldwide the “Yin” professional credentials to celebrate a unique style of yoga and tradition!

We are extremely proud that our new “PLUS Standards Model”, prompted other Yoga Alliance organisations to review their standards scheme.

The professional affiliation with the Yoga Alliance® (International/Australia) is widely recognised by employers, insurance companies, yoga students and practitioners around the world. The purpose of registration as a Member of Yoga Alliance® (International/Australia) is to fulfill the primary purpose of protection of the public, yoga students and aspiring yoga teachers in an “unregulated industry”.
