Ever felt disappointed after a few therapy sessions? I get it.

Therapy is like any relationship – with some people you just don’t get that connection.

I tried multiple therapists before finding the one who truly got me. Each one brought something unique, but it was only with the right fit that I felt safe enough to open up and start making real progress.

👉 Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. Don’t feel pressured to stick with a therapist if it’s not a good match.

🩵 Take your time, experiment, and remember: it’s okay to keep looking until it feels right.

Therapy is supposed to be a place to grow and feel safe, so if you’re not feeling that connection, keep searching. Every try is a step closer to the therapist who will help you feel truly seen.

It’s okay to move on. Therapy is deeply personal, and sometimes it takes trying out a few options to find the fit that makes healing possible.

If you’re in that process of finding someone who “gets” you, keep going. It’s worth it.

Let's talk affirmations.

Those positive phrases can be a lovely addition to your self-care toolkit.

They can boost your mood, shift your perspective, and remind you of your strengths. 💪

But here's the thing: affirmations alone aren't going to magically fix everything. ✨

(Despite what those Instagram gurus might tell you 😉)

Think of it like this: affirmations are like watering a plant. 🌱

They nourish your mind with positivity, but they need fertile ground to truly take root.

That ground is made up of:

🩵 Self-awareness: Understanding your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
