The Metta Prayer of Loving-kindness is a prayer or mantra used as part of a loving-kindness meditation, or Metta Bhavana.
This kind of meditation and use of a mantra is especially popular in the Buddhist tradition.
The word, metta, comes from Pali and can be translated as “good will” or “loving kindness.”

There are many variations of the metta prayer of loving kindness.
Metta refers to an unconditional, inclusive and wise love that exists without expectations of anything in return.
With practice, both a metta bhavana practice and the use of the prayer will turn into a holistic experience of love and kindness.
It is said that after Siddhartha became the Buddha, he encouraged all of his disciples to use the metta prayer for loving kindness.

Imagine all the people on earth, recite this prayer every morning with intention… what kind of world we will have then?!!

Expand your personal love to Universal Love… that is higher form of LOVE!

However, being consistent in your practice is the key; It’s way more effective to have short but consistent practice rather than long, complex & inconsistent practice.
Not just yoga, for everything else in life also Consistency is the main ingredient for Success!

Neuroplasticity in this case is mindful practice of simple poses that create new positive patterns of being, and your inner journey is just as important as creating New Patterns in your physicality.
When you get comfortable, open, flexible and at ease in your body, your breath will be at ease, your mind will follow then and you will arrive to the realm of Stillness ✨

The good news is officially OUT ☺️
I’ve created this on demand library of 6 x 30mins Yoga Sessions which are focusing on different parts of the body & movements. So, if you have one rest day and spend only 30 mins each day, you will work out the whole body per week!

✔️ Since these sessions are pre-recorded, you can squeeze them in your schedule as you wish, so No More Excuses 😏

✔️ They are suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners, but if you are totally New to yoga, I highly recommend to have a few live 1:1 sessions with me to know the basics.

✔️ For encouraging you to consistently practice these sessions, every 3-4 months I’ll replace current videos with new ones; therefore, if you don’t practice during this time frame, will miss out on them 🙃

Along with building strength and lengthen muscles, practicing yoga can also improve stability.
If you’re an avid hiker, you know how important stability and balance can be on a trail. Without balance, especially with a heavy pack, you’re more prone to falling, rolling ankles, and getting fatigued.
Lastly, practicing yoga for hiking can greatly increase flexibility, which will help reduce muscle aches and strain on and after a hike.

5 stretches to prepare the body for a good hike on a trail:

1. Standing Wide Legged forward fold with Twists: come back up slowly & with inhalation so you won’t feel dizzy

2. Triangle Pose: bend to the side to your own degree, you don’t have to touch the ground

3. Thigh Stretch: keep your free hand on the wall or tree if you loose balance

4. Standing Pigeon (standing figure four): bend from hip joints and engage the quad, if possible try to release the hands on the ground for deeper stretch

5. Jiva Squat: bend from hip joints, engage the quad without any pressure on the standing knee

Starting summer in Australia in a right way 😉
Memories from last weekend of three days hiking in Victoria’s largest coastal in Wilsons Promontory National Park, affectionately known as ‘The Prom’.
This 50,000 hectare reserve is threaded with a labyrinth of walking tracks that showcase all manner of magical realms sheltering abundant wildlife.

As always Victoria didn’t disappoint us with three different seasons in three days, up there 😅🌤️🌩️⛈️☔️🌤️ ☀️⚡️which actually topped our adventures of hiking in such a unique, spectacular environment!
My first hike in Prom was 7 yrs ago and since then I’ve hiked in many different parts of Australia and still this is one of my all times favourite 🥾
