For the first time ever, we're making Winter Wonderlights more inclusive and accessible so everyone can experience the magic. ❄️

🗓 When: 21–24 July 2025
⏰ Time: 10:00am–7:00pm AEST
📍 Where: Sovereign Hill

Our Relaxed Sessions offer a sensory-friendly version of the Winter Wonderlights experience. Expect fewer crowds, quiet zones, and supportive resources designed for visitors with sensory sensitivities or hidden disabilities.

🧩 What’s included:
• Calmer atmosphere with reduced crowd levels
• Quiet spaces for downtime and decompression
• Sensory kits available at the entrance (ear defenders, fidget tools & more)
• Communication boards in shops and dining areas
• Social scripts to help plan your visit

🌟 School Holiday Workshops Are Back this Winter! 🌟

If you are looking for a fun, creative, and connection-filled school holiday experience Winter Workshops might be your answer!

🗓️ Dates: Mon 7th, Tues 8th, Thurs 10th, Fri 11th July
(Come to one or come to many, the choice is yours)
🕤 Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
📍 Location: Emerald area (exact venue TBC)
🎨 Ages: Designed for children aged 4–12
💰 Daily Rate: $295 per child
(NDIS claimable under Core or Capacity Building supports. Private payment also welcomed.)

Each themed day is packed with hands-on play, imagination, and group connection, with a focus on:

This week, both our Girl Power and Boy Crew groups dived into the world of emotions through a sensory-rich sand tray activity!

Using the calming, grounding texture of sand, each child chose one emotion to reflect and represent in their tray. We focused on noticing feelings not just in ourselves, but also in others—building emotional awareness, empathy, and connection through play.

The creativity was flowing as children used miniatures, textures, and imaginative storytelling to express their chosen emotion. It was especially heartwarming to see our usually busy, busy Boy Crew so engaged and focused during this experience!

These moments of deep focus, creativity, and emotional exploration are powerful building blocks for social-emotional development—and we’re so proud of the effort each child put in this week👏👏
