The Myth of Perfection
Do you sometimes make things harder for yourself?
Amazing life coach Brooke Castillo says "you've got to get comfortable putting out B- work sometimes and stop trying to make everything an A."
I find the myth of perfection especially prevalent in mental health professionals who are by and large high achievers.
I was like you and used to say “Practice makes Perfect”, till my daughter said to me one day, “There is no such thing as perfect!” and gave me my new motto:
“Practice makes Progress.”
