Some Natural Deoderant tips!

Alum: Stop using antiperspirants.
They clog your sweat glands and
contain aluminum chlorohydrate,
which may lead to future health
problems.

Sage: Drinking a cup of sage tea
daily to reduce sweat gland activity
can work wonders. This is especially true for those who perspire excessively due to tension. Use one and
a half teaspoons of dried sage or
two tea bags in one cup of water
and steep for ten minutes. Drink in
small doses throughout the day

Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple cider
vinegar eliminates under arm body
odor when used in place of deodorant because it reduces the pH of the skin. Bacteria can’t live in areas
with low pH

Tea Tree Oil: Deodorizes. Make a
deodorant by putting two drops of
the essential oil into one ounce of
water and apply where needed.

Wheat Grass: Drinking two
ounces of fresh wheat grass does
the trick. The chlorophyll will dramatically reduce body odor

Rosemary Oil: It’s an excellent
deodorizer. Put eight to ten drops of
the essential oil in one ounce of
water and apply it where needed.

JUICING - Who doesn't love a good juice... and the health benefits can be substantial. Below is a list of juice/blending recipes that are targeted toward specific ailments.

Anemia:
Parsley, grape juice

Asthma:
Celery, papaya juice

Bed-Wetting:
Celery, parsley juice

Bladder ailments:
Celery, pomegranate juice

Catarrh, cold, sore throat:
Watercress, apple juice (add 1/4 tsp cream of tartar)

Constipation, Stomach ulcers:
Celery with a little sweet cream, spinach and grapefruit juice.

Colds, sinus trouble:
Celery and grapefruit juices (add 1/4 tsp cream of tartar)

Diarrhoea, infection:
Carrot and blackberry juice

Fever, gout, arthritis:
Celery and parsley juice

Gallbladder disorders:
Radish, prune, black cherry and celery juice

General housecleaning:
Celery, parsley, spinach and carrot juice

Glands, goiter, impotence:
Celery juice, 1 tsp wheat germ, 1/2
tsp Nova Scotia dulse

High blood pressure:
Carrot, parsley, celery juice

Indigestion, underweight:
Coconut milk, fig, parsley and carrot juice

Insomnia, sleeplessness:
Lettuce and celery juice

Kidney disorders:
Celery, parsley, asparagus juice

Liver disorders:
Radish and pineapple juices

Neuralgia:
Cucumber, endive, pineapple juice

Overweight, obesity:
Beet greens, parsley, celery juice

Poor circulation:

SEAWEED - SO MANY HEEALTH BENEFITS- WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT!

In cases of hypo-thyroid, one of the best foods you can eat is seaweed. Laminaria, a type of seaweed also known as kelp, has bacteria and viral activity within its contents. This helps to kill viruses such as the herpes virus, and may also lower
blood pressure and cholesterol. Wakame is known to boost immune functioning, and Nori kills bacteria and may help in healing ulcers. Wakame tests twice as powerful as the common drug Heparin, and is a clot-buster. Many types of seaweed also have cancer remissive activities.

Seaweed is an excellent source of vitamin B, vitamin C, Beta
Carotene, and natural iodine. Iodine provides a wide spectrum of minerals such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium and selenium.
Selenium, a mineral that protects the immune system by preventing the formation of radicals that can damage the body, plays an important role in regulating the effects of thyroid hormone on fat metabolism. Selenium has also been found to help prevent the formation of certain

RASPBERRIES - HEALTH BENEFITS

Red raspberries are often the source of a dietary supplement sold in many health food stores called ellagic acid. This substance, which is found naturally in raspberries, belongs to the family of phytonutrients called tannins. It is viewed as being responsible for a good portion of the nutritional activity of this berry and other berries. Because raspberries contain ellagic acid, they help prevent unwanted damage to cell membranes and other structures in the body by neutralizing overly reactive oxygen-containing molecules called free radicals. However, ellagic acid is not the only well researched phytonutrient component of raspberry. Also well documented is the raspberry’s flavonoid content. The key substances in flavonoids are quercetin, kaempferol and the cyanidin-based molecules called cyanidin-3-glucosylrutinoside and cyanidin-3-rutinoside. These flavonoid molecules belong to the group of substances that give raspberries their rich red colour.

Raspberries have unique properties thanks to the anthocyanins, as
well as some microbial ones. This includes the raspberries ability to prevent overgrowth of certain bacteria and fungi in the body. An example of this is the yeast Candida albicans, which is a frequent culprit in vaginal infections and can be a contributing cause in irritable bowel syndrome. Raspberries have cancer protective
properties.

Research shows that raspberries have the potential ability to inhibit cancer cell proliferation and tumour formation in various sites
including the colon. Plus Vitamin and Minerals
Raspberries are filled with traditional nutrients, primarily protectors and B vitamin categories in addition to
their unique phytonutrient content. Raspberries emerged from our nutrient ranking system as an excellent source of manganese and vitamin C, which are two critical nutrients that help protect the body’s tissue from oxygen-related damage. They also qualified as a good source of riboflavin, folate, niacin, magnesium, potassium and copper. Raspberries qualified as “excellent” in terms of dietary fibre because they are coupled with strong B vitamin
and mineral content. This combination of nutrients makes raspberries a great fruit choice for balancing blood sugars.

Oxygen breaks up waste material and, like water, helps to rid the body of garbage. It also creates heat, and we need heat to
distribute and read our food messages at the cellular level. Without oxygen, we cannot build any structure in the body.
Oxygen in the body can be increased in the tissues by drinking
the juices of green grasses. Pure, fresh, free oxygen is given off copiously by plants in our environment, and therefore it can be said that the more you are surrounded by living plants, the purer and fresher your air. Plant gardens of trees, shrubs
and flowers around your living spaces, and then make conscious
efforts to deeply breathe in this life regenerating oxygen. Have lots of house plants.

WATER - WE CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT!

We can only live a few
days without water. Our bodies are
over 70% water. The brain 90+%,
even our teeth have water in them.
Cellular tissues cannot be fed well without water. We would dry up
without it. It removes toxic wastes and dead tissue. It builds live elements into new and living matter. The more water that we drink, the healthier bodies we will have. It is the magnetic, electrical “ohms” that we get from food and water that we
live on. The food is simply passed from us through bodily excretion,
but the energy of the waters (their electrical
charge) remains behind to power us. We are literally
living solar cells and we are charged by the magnetism of sunlight that is trapped in all living things.
