5/10 percent is conscious, 90/95 percent unconscious. With anxiety you can be consciously noticing these things, but be unaware of the unconscious contributors.

First part is above the iceberg, which is what you see or feel 👀☹️ Eg. Crying and low mood.

Next part is under the iceberg, which is what you can’t see. Eg. Intrusive thoughts and being lonely

1. OBSERVE. Bring awareness to the feelings in your body.

The main difference is that high achievers are driven by external motivators such as rewards, achievement, and recognition.

High performers can appear to have a similar approach but their internal motivators are different. Specifically, the focus is on the process rather than the outcome. Despite their desire to achieve, high performers prioritise mental wellness and balance.

How can a high achiever become a high performer? By addressing the beliefs behind their behaviour so they can begin to live out the live they were meant to have.

A 5-Minute Breathing Meditation 🧘‍♀️

Take some time to find a quiet place, turn off your phone and find a comfortable place to sit down in.

1. First appreciate your time. Take a few moments to congratulate yourself that you are taking some time for meditation.
2. Next become aware of your breath. Now bring awareness to the breath in the abdomen or belly, breathing normally and naturally.
3. Then stay with your breath. As you breathe in, be aware of breathing in; as you breathe out, be aware of breathing out, maintaining this awareness of the breath as you feel relaxed 😌
4. Just be. Be in the here and now, mindful of your breathing.
