Meet our newest girl, our little Nelly ( Chanel ) — the latest addition to our program here at Designer Oodles.
Nelly is a beautiful chocolate phantom Cavoodle with a rich cocoa coat and warm caramel points. She has now moved into her carefully selected guardian home, where she’ll grow up as a deeply loved family dog.
As for temperament — it’s simply too early to define. The qualities that truly matter take time to develop, and we believe in allowing our pups the space to mature before making any breeding commitments. Confidence, resilience, structure and overall soundness can only be properly assessed as they grow.
Our guardian program allows us to make thoughtful, sometimes tough decisions without disrupting a dog’s life. In the last few years, we’ve raised but ultimately not bred three dogs — Pippa, Sadie and Charlie — due to temperament development, changes in hips and shoulders, or unforeseen accidents along the way. Each of them simply continued on with their families, exactly where they belong.
That’s the strength of this model. Welfare first. Development before decisions. And the dog always comes before the program.
