A healthy heart is a happy heart! Here are some tips to keep yours in top shape.
1.Eat a balanced diet: A heart-healthy diet includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limit your intake of saturated and trans fats, salt, and added sugars.

2.Exercise regularly: Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity exercise most days of the week. Activities like brisk walking, cycling, or swimming can help keep your heart healthy.

3. Maintain a healthy weight: Being overweight or obese can increase your risk of heart disease. Maintain a healthy weight by eating a balanced diet and staying physically active.

4.Manage stress: Chronic stress can increase your risk of heart disease. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as exercise, meditation, or spending time with loved ones.

5. Get enough sleep: Poor sleep quality and sleep deprivation can increase your risk of heart disease. Everyone has different sleep requirements so work out what works for you but aiming for 7-8 hours of sleep per night is a good start.

We are open and still providing essential Allied Health Services to the community. This is a kind reminder that masks must be worn whilst in clinic, we thank you for your attention to this.

The only exceptions are for those who are under the age of 12 and or legally not required to wear one.

Osteopaths are trained to diagnose and treat all regions of the musculoskeletal system using a holistic and whole-body approach. They focus on the joints, muscles and spine, their treatment aims to positively affect the body's nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems.

As you would have seen in the media today the Queensland Government have implemented a 3 day mandatory lock down for Greater Brisbane. We know this does not include the Sunshine Coast currently but we would like to keep you all updated.

We recognise this as an important step in the interest of public health and we assure you that Back In Motion Mudjimba take this seriously.

As an essential service BIM Mudjimba will remain open through this period unless we are otherwise advised. This means you can continue to receive treatment as required.

Our Story

Back In Motion Mudjimba provides physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, massage, clinical exercise, and exercise and rehab to Mudjimba, and surrounding suburbs. We have one-on-one consultations, one-on-one and semi-private classes and because our services are delivered by registered allied health professionals you can claim them on private health insurance with extras cover.

We have a team of 1 highly experienced physiotherapist with varied specialty areas including neck, back, hip, shoulder injuries, vertigo (BPPV), jaw pain (TMJD). 2 exercise physiologists with varied speciality areas including exercise oncology, chronic disease management, Neuromuscular retraining, Parkinson’s management, therapeutic yoga, back to work fitness, and general health and well-being. 1 highly knowledgeable podiatrist specialising in Musculoskeletal and general care.

We use various treatment types including manual therapy, dry needling, shockwave therapy, clinical exercise, rehabilitation exercise & massage therapy.
