This week has involved working on COVID-19 poster translations for Aboriginal communities. So far we have Banjima, Nyangumarta and Yindjibarndi, with more in the works. If there any speakers that you know of, can you please get us in contact with them so we can effectively communicate information and do our best to prevent the spread.

Over the long weekend, Old Scotch Collegian Yarlalu Thomas ('15) travelled to Canberra to participate in the Australian of the Year awards, following him being named as WA Young Australian of the Year in 2019. Congrats Yarlalu! We are so proud of you and very grateful of the work you do with the current Scotch boys!

Project Y is one of the organisations Lyfe Languages is partnered with under the amazing leadership of Dr Gareth Baynam. Might also explain the choice of the letter "Y" in our name...

Lead by Dr Gareth Baynam, Project Y brings together specialist doctors with researchers to provide a a diagnosis to the thousands of families who desperately need one.
