I was privileged to speak at Westgrove Primary School about periods recently. The students asked great questions and were really engaged. For some, it was their first time hearing about periods or seeing pads. It was good to see males also coming along and supporting the females in their life. ❤️

EARLY PERIOD

🌞 Inner Summer mode: ovulation’s got your confidence, creativity & social energy in full swing—just don’t overbook your awesome self! 💫

Inner Summer is basically the ovulation phase—those few days when an egg drops and oestrogen (and a bit of testosterone) hits its peak. It’s like your energy turbo-switch.

Many say they feel more confident, creative, and outgoing—with their libido and social vibe in full gear. This is prime time for launching projects, networking, or putting yourself out there. Communication gets sharper and many are in a more expressive headspace.

Just be careful not to bite off more than you can chew—you’ve got the oomph now, but it’s easy to overdo it during this high-energy phase.
