KEEP BABY COMFY WHEN TEETH START COMING
🦷 Teething usually begins around six months of age and can be a tough phase for both babies and parents. During this time, little ones may seem unsettled, irritable, and experience several common symptoms often associated with teething.
Signs of teething may include:
👉 Red, sore gums where teeth are breaking through
👉 Flushed cheeks (often just one side)
👉 Increased drooling
👉 A strong urge to chew on objects
👉 Extra fussiness or clinginess
While teething itself doesn’t directly cause nappy rash, it can sometimes lead to teething-related diarrhoea, which increases the chances of nappy rash. When your baby's skin stays in contact with wee and stool, especially during frequent or loose bowel movements, irritation can occur.
That’s why it’s important to use a protective barrier cream regularly during this phase. Products like Bepanthen® Nappy Rash Ointment help form a protective layer on your baby’s delicate skin, shielding it from irritants and supporting natural skin recovery.
✅ Change your baby’s nappy as soon as it’s soiled
✅ Use nappy cream at every change (ideally 5–7 times a day)
✅ Let your baby’s bottom air out when possible (e.g., during winding)
A little care goes a long way in keeping your baby comfortable through the teething phase.
