“Which charger do I need for my Muller Energy lithium battery?”

The answer depends on your power sources, how you use your setup and how quickly you want your battery to recharge.

Here’s a simple guide to help you choose the right charger for your Muller Energy lithium battery system.

All our batteries can be connected using either ring terminals or Anderson connectors. Both work perfectly, it’s just a matter of which is more convenient for your installation.

No extras are required. Once you’ve chosen your charger (or combination of chargers), you’re ready to go. All you need is a power source such as a vehicle alternator, mains power, or solar panels.

Absolutely. You can charge your battery from multiple sources at the same time. The system safely handles input from AC, DC and solar simultaneously.

Happy Sunday, Ruben here.

It's actually a pretty miserable Sunday afternoon here in Sydney.
Great for either getting your paperwork done or for lazing on the couch and watching some YouTube.

Should you (like me) be partial to the latter, there's a great video by Derek Muller (sadly no relation) from Veratisum on Youtube about the development of the lithium ion battery.

Unfortunately it's just about the older and much more dangerous NMC battery chemistry and not about LiFePO4, which is what we use exclusively at Muller Energy (for the time being, as we'll be introducing some sodium batteries very shortly - stay tuned for more details!).

Still, it's a very informative video if you want to nerd out and need an excuse not to start your tax return.
