Step Into Fun, Give Back to the Community: Mind the Walk 2025! An Extraordinary Day Where Every Step Supports Mental Health
Are you ready to swap your Sunday stroll for an unforgettable adventure that uplifts both hearts and minds? Lace up your sneakers and mark your calendar for Sunday, November 2, 2025, because Mind the Walk is striding back into Rockingham, and it’s bigger, brighter, and bolder than ever! Mind the Walk is not your average fundraising event. It’s a dazzling collaboration between the Rotary Clubs of Rockingham, Palm Beach, and Baldivis, bringing together our vibrant community for a cause that truly matters—mental health. Every cent raised powers South Coast Health and Community Services, providing emergency relief for those facing financial hardship, domestic violence, homelessness, and more. By joining in, you’re not walking alone—you’re walking in solidarity with your community. Why Walk When You Can Wander, Wonder, and Win? This isn’t a simple walk; it’s a fully guided, interactive, historical 5km journey along the beautiful Rockingham Beach. As you amble through Rotary Park Reserve and the surrounding coastline, you’ll be led on a scavenger hunt, peppered with fun and quirky historical facts that bring our local story to life. With every registration, you’ll receive a treasure-filled information booklet—your passport to discovering hidden gems along the route. Community Carnival: More Than a Walk! The adventure continues within Rotary Park, transformed into a bustling hub of excitement! Dive into:

Community group displays bursting with creativity and inspiration
Informative talks and mental health resources to guide and empower

Games galore and playful activities for kids—and the young at heart

Cuddle time with friendly animals (who can resist a furry friend?)

An obstacle course to conquer and raise even more for a great cause

But wait, there’s more—get your body moving and your spirits soaring with a smorgasbord of energising activities:
Bootcamp with Samantha Parmenter: Jump, squat, and giggle your way to fitness

Yoga with Maria Grimes: Find your zen and stretch out those feel-good vibes

Pilates with Lee McLoughlin: Strengthen your core, balance your mind
Simply Swing Dancers: Learn some new moves and join in the groove! Why It Matters
Every activity, every laugh, and every conversation on this day is dedicated to raising awareness that mental health matters. Our aim is to shine a light on support services, smash the stigma, and celebrate the power of community and nature in emotional wellbeing. If we help just one person take a step towards hope, our mission is a success. Bring the Whole Family! Mind the Walk is more than just a walk—it’s an uplifting festival of fun, fitness, and friendship for all ages. Whether you’re navigating the scavenger hunt, cuddling a cute critter, or learning to Lindy Hop, there’s something magical waiting for everyone. So, are you ready to make a difference—one step, one laugh, and one connection at a time? Join us for Mind the Walk 2025 and let’s create a wave of positive change together. Let’s walk, talk, and thrive—side by side! Tickets and Details: Available on the [event's page]
