Position Title: Psychologist
Role Type: Permanent full-time
Role Duration: Contract
Location: Tarneit and Preston, VIC

Dulili Care is a registered NDIS provider that complies with all the Victorian and Commonwealth Government requirements for the delivery of quality and safe disability support services. Dulili Care support people with physical, intellectual and multiple disabilities and developmental delays to achieve their goals.
The key services that we provide are:
• Therapeutic Support through physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, Psychology, Dietitian and behavioural support.
Purpose of the position
The purpose of this role is provide support to NDIS participants (ADSD, Autism Spectrum, Dementia etc.) through counselling and intervention strategies to help participants reach their goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high quality assessment and intervention to patients within a psychology health care context.
• Develop relevant and individualised person-centred behaviour support plans
• Communicate with patients and liaise with other health care professionals to develop relevant recommendations and support to patients.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge base and experience in psychological theory and practice.
• Provide counselling and intervention strategies to patients
• Work in collaboration with relevant health professionals and agencies to provide a comprehensive and integrated approach to service delivery relevant to the needs of the community.
• Develop and document resources to include external agencies and services for referral, networking and peer support.
• Assist with linking patients into relevant community groups and advocating on behalf of the client or groups, to achieve sustainable care.
• Ensure maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to client information
• Ensure information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record system
• Participate in staff meetings, individual planning meetings, and case meetings with other professionals.
• Keep accurate records of assessments and treatments in accordance with professional standards including the production of reports to other Health Professionals, Social Care and other agencies.
• Commitment to continuous professional development including participation in regular clinical supervision, being a part of local clinical networks, keeping up to date with relevant research and attending professional development events/activities.
Essential criteria
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
• A clear International Police Check (if applicable)
• An employment Working with Children’s Check
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Full AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration as a psychologist
