🌟 National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day - September 27th 🌟

Today is National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day to raise awareness, fight stigma, and encourage HIV testing and prevention within the community.

HIV continues to affect gay and bisexual men at disproportionate rates, but with knowledge, testing, and treatment, we can make a difference.

Here’s how we can contribute:
🔹 Get Tested: Knowing your status is key to staying healthy and protecting others. 🔹 Raise Awareness: Share information about HIV prevention, treatment, and support.
🔹 Support the Community: Stand in solidarity with those affected by HIV and advocate for greater access to healthcare and education.

Let’s work together to reduce stigma, promote understanding, and support those impacted by HIV. 💙

🌟 Good News! 🌟
PrEP is back in stock and available for delivery. However, due to the nationwide PrEP shortage, we’ve limited orders to a 1-month supply (30 tablets) per patient. The shortage is expected to last until November 2024, so please plan ahead and order when you’re down to 10 tablets.

If you’ve already placed an order for more than a month’s supply, we’ll contact you directly to arrange a refund and send out just one month’s worth for now. We’re actively working to source more stock as quickly as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary situation. 💙 For more details, visit the TGA website or contact us with any questions.

💛 R U OK? Day 2024 💛

Today is R U OK? Day, a day to check in with those around us and remind everyone that it’s okay to not be okay. A simple conversation can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Take a moment to ask your friends, family, or colleagues: "R U OK?" and be ready to listen with compassion and care. You never know who might need that extra support today.

Here’s how you can start:

Ask – "R U OK?"
Listen – Be present and let them share.
Encourage Action – Help them figure out next steps.
Check In – Follow up and show ongoing care.
Your support could change a life today. Let’s create a world where we’re all looking out for one another. 💛

Lets talk about PrEP AND Pep! 🙌

What are PrEP and PEP, and how can they help prevent the spread of HIV? PrEP and PEP are actually the same treatment used in two different ways (we'll explain this shortly). They use a combination of the same drugs used to treat HIV, which act to fight the virus as it tries to infect immune cells. F...

‘Get asymptomatic testing’: STI test push amid rising cases

Testing rates continue to stagnate despite the spike, leaving some to question whether GPs are comfortable discussing the topic.

🔴 Today is National HIV Testing Day – June 27, 2024 🔴

Today, we join together to highlight the importance of getting tested for HIV. Knowing your status is the first step in taking control of your health and well-being.

🩺 Why Get Tested?

Empowerment: Knowing your status gives you the power to make informed decisions about your health.
Early Detection: Early diagnosis can lead to more effective treatment.
Prevention: Help prevent the spread of HIV in your community.

🤝 Support is Available:
If you have concerns or need someone to talk to, resources are available. You are not alone in this journey.

Let’s spread the word, not the virus. Get tested, know your status, and encourage your loved ones to do the same. Together, we can make a difference!
