Hello Sunday! I thought I’d take this opportunity to introduce myself again. I’m Nikki, an Early Childhood teacher, Channeller and Mum to a 22 year old girl and 3 month old boy.

I have a passion for helping children through big emotions, parenting and working with new Mamas and Mamas to be.

When being pregnant with my babies, I noticed the huge focus on pregnancy, birth and so little on the postpartum journey. There is so much preparation energetically that needs to happen prior to a woman becoming a mother. During pregnancy we take prenatal vitamins, have ongoing scans and checkups but what about once bub is born. After 6 weeks your midwife generally waves goodbye and your off into the hands of health clinics, your GP or no one. This can be such a daunting time for new mums. This is when I find it so beneficial to be introduced to your spirit team and particularly your parenting guide, whose job it is to guide, heal and support you through your parenting journey.

Having people you trust and love by your side as you raise your children is absolutely vital for a happy and healthy child and parenthood. But not all of us are blessed with family members that live in the same city or are able to lend a helping hand.

Getting to know your spirit team is like meeting someone new and feeling like you’ve known them for years. Your guides have likely been in your life since childhood and are waiting to give you the love, support and healing you need.

A little preparation goes a long way. To avoid complete chaos in the morning, I often plan a couple of activities the night before and set these out, with an enticing inviting to play. This usually means breakfast and coffee can be accompanied with 2.5 minutes of peace and quiet 🥰🤍

Wondering what to do when it rains? Visit nearby streets and lanes.

This has become my mantra during the cooler months. Having 3 month and 22 month old babies at home full time in an apartment means when it rains we often feel we need to get out. We strap on some rain boots and warm raincoats and off we go exploring. We don’t usually make it too far because there is so much to explore. In the nearby lane there are so many pipes at the back of buildings and our eldest finds it fascinating watching water drip from it as well as all the puddles to jump in of-course!

Fairy lights make everything better! Today we stayed home all day and in the afternoon I needed to entice Eden back indoors. I found our stash of fairy lights we normally reserve only for Xmas and thought “why do we reserve the most magic for one occasion each year”. Each day should be magical, right?

Today I vowed to hang more fairy lights and make each day more magical!

Hello Bebe! Nearly 36 weeks and no sign of baby yet!

8 weeks ago spirit told me my baby would come near my due date of March 20 and not to worry about going into spontaneous premature labour like I did the last time round.

They guided me to place affirmations around the home that reminded me to trust that I would have all the time I needed this time round. Time to nest, organise, rest and most importantly, time to meditate, channel and heal; really preparing energetically for our baby’s arrival.

So grateful for the team of guides I have that provide constant unconditional love, support and healing 🤍

Today after the rain, we played in a beautiful natural space with a water play garden. Before we even got to the water play area, E was fascinated by the little pebbles, sticks and gravel and we just let her be, let her play freely and explore until her heart was content.

It was a beautiful reminder of the year we’ve just had. 2021 was full of exciting twists and turns, most of which turned out to be wonderfully exciting but amongst it all, we were reminded to be present and to be love in every moment we can. There were plenty of ups and downs, highs and lows but we always came back to finding the joy in the little things; laughing together and stopping to explore the pebble.
