Do you find yourself waking up exhausted, even if you got enough sleep?
If so, there’s a high chance the quality of your sleep isn’t quite where it should be and in particular, deep sleep.
Here are 3 ways to increase your deep sleep.
1. Go to bed at the same time every night. Our circadian rhythms work like clockwork (literally). By going to bed at the same time every night, you’re not missing the opportunity for your hormones and neurotransmitters to put you into that sweet, deep sleep.
2. Don’t eat too close to bed time. If our digestive systems are working too hard, this makes it difficult to get into deep sleep.
3. Manage stress levels. Meditation and other relaxation techniques can help us get slip into a deeper sleep.
