Stepping into the unknown - a meditation about loving yourself

Who told you not to go there? Slapped your hand, pulled you away from the fire, kept you safe.
Are you confused by the comfort you seek?
Stepping into the unknown will teach you.
The risk is high, yes, remember that you are not alone.
The fear is in your head and in your body as you recoil.
Turn to the discomfort, open to it, allow it to teach you.
Let the hard stuff be there as you work through bit by bit.
Like a flower that opens up, the path will reveal itself.
It’s the hardness of the rocks that stand up to the crashing waves.
Water flows over falls at the feet where the first step is to be taken.
Drip by drip over time fills.
Cupped hands were made to hold.
Be ready to receive.
Heart pumps, breath sustains, mouth speaks, words propel.
You are the miracle of love.

I found this little pendant sitting here on this bench, so I took a photo. It reminded me to take heart in the simple things. To appreciate the generous spirit.

When I'm walking around the streets, from activity to task, or whatever I'm doing in the moment, if I see something that will make for an interesting commentary, image and or story, I'll take a photo.

It's like sifting for treasures in the sand on the beach. Only I'm not really looking or sifting nor searching, it's kind of like the treasure presents itself. So then the image kind of tells it's own story or it's up for interpretation.

We can create our own feel good emotions, rather than rely on the external environment or expect other people to 'make' us feel good. It's not up to someone else nor the situation that you find yourself in to bring you joy. You can experience joy now.

What is heart coherence?
What is brain/heart coherence?
I learnt about this method of intention when I read Joe Dispenza's book "Becoming Supernatural".

In order for someone to create a new future, a person needs to marry clear intention, that is a coherent brain with an elevated emotion, coherent heart. What we think and what we feel are important in making things happen. We are creators of our personalities and realities.

When we take responsibility for what we wish to create in our lives we cease living as a victim of circumstance.

To access the intelligence of your heart and to produce elevated emotions practice the following:
gratitude
appreciation
thankfulness
inspiration
freedom
kindness
selflessness
compassion
love
joy

To practice, we can sit quietly meditating on these positive emotions lifting our vibrational energy and connecting to a sense of unity.

When we practice coherent heart meditation the nervous systems responds and in turn increases the brains energy of creativity, intuition and coherence to a ripple of positive effects on the organs in the body.

When mind/heart coherence is achieved a sense of harmony is felt in the body.

Unmanaged emotions are evident when we are at war with ourselves, experiencing the stress caused by fear, fear of imperfection, not being enough, not having enough, grasping for more and not being content.

Practicing meditation enables us to practice, manifest and feel good now.

I am fascinated and inspired by space. The space between. Where we have come from, where we sit with space and where we travel in space.

Space in the mind, space in the body, creating more space.

When I sit to meditate I am creating more space in my mind.
When I practice yoga, I am creating more space in my body. With both modalities I am stretching myself, piano, piano, slowly, slowly, edging towards expansion and awareness.

Rather than thinking in terms of time, I'm changing my discourse to one that is about thinking in terms of space.

I read Supernatural by Joe Dispenza recently and with this sense of space which I explore in many stories in my blog, that space is where the eternal exists. We are connected through this eternal space of being.

When we sit in meditation we are enveloped by this space. Whatever we do, wherever we go, we are within this realm of space and therefore connected to each other in so many ways that we are not realising.

That's just totally amazing to me.
