Today marks the start of NAIDOC Week, a time to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year’s theme is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” which honours and elevates Indigenous voices, culture and resilience.
You can support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.

* Current WWCC

* Current Police Check

* Current (or willing to obtain within 2 weeks of employment) NDIS Worker Screening Check

* Current (or willing to obtain within 4 weeks of employment) First Aid & CPR Cert

* Completed NDIS QSC Modules

* Cert 3 or higher equivalent industry based or willing to obtain

* Current NSW Drivers Licence (Red P's or higher only), and reliable vehicle

Today is Federal Election Day. ✏️

If you haven't placed an early vote, you will need to vote today at a polling booth near you.

AEC have supports available to help people with disability cast their vote. Some polling places will have:

✅ 2-person tables for those who require a family member, friend or carer to assist them with voting

✅ accessible voting screens

✅ hearing loops, and/or

✅ text-to-speech pens.

A virtual Auslan interpreter service will be available at every polling place and can be accessed on a smart device by scanning the QR code on the poster in the polling place.
