Great to be back at Churchie (ACGS) to deliver MHFA Youth refresher training. Passionate, engaged staff who have the well being of their students at the forefront of their minds. A wonderful day training staff at Villanova College in Mental Health First Aid. With 2 in 5 youth (39%) suffering one of the common mental illnesses in the next 12 months, these are the people who can make a huge difference.
In what is a busy time for them, I congratulate them on the focus, engagement and willingness to step outside their comfort zones so they can better support the students in their care.

It was wonderful to spend Saturday with the amazing team from Shilleena's Dance Academy. Shilleena and her dance teachers completed the MHFA Youth course (blended, face-to-face).
The Youth Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants how to provide initial support to a young person (aged 12–18) who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.
Well done SDA.
