When noted psychologist Michael Carr Gregg states that MHFA Youth course shoul be mandatory for all teachers, surely school leaders listen.

It was wonderful to spend Saturday with the amazing team from Shilleena's Dance Academy. Shilleena and her dance teachers completed the MHFA Youth course (blended, face-to-face).
The Youth Mental Health First Aid course teaches participants how to provide initial support to a young person (aged 12–18) who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis, until professional help is received, or the crisis resolves.
Well done SDA.

A wonderful morning completing the MHFA Youth refresher course with staff from Lourdes Hill College, Sandgate SHS, Brisbane School of Distance Education.
Late in the school year and still engaged and participating in training that will serve the young people in their schools.
The refresher course is for those who have completed the MHFA Youth course and wish to refresh their accreditation. Each of these attendees trained with me within the last 3 years so were eligible to refresh.

This was the face-to-face component after completing the elearning prior to attending the face-to-face component.

It was great to spend two days at Fraser Coast Anglican College delivering MHFA Youth and MHFA Youth refresher courses at the college.
Principal Joe Wright has been a driver in providing Mental Health First Aid courses for his staff with almost 80 staff trained in MHFA Youth.
It seemed fitting for ALGEE to find a new home at Fraser Coast Anglican College with Joe and his amazing staff.
