Last Friday, ahead of National Sorry Day and the start of National Reconciliation Week, NDIS Commission staff gained valuable insights during a yarn with Dunghutti woman and Deputy CEO of First Peoples Disability Network, June Riemer.

June shared some history that has not been widely taught in schools and spoke about the need to address the "double disadvantage" experienced by First Peoples with disability.

Thank you June for inspiring everyone to "Be a Voice for Generations" and making change across the disability sector and beyond, for a more reconciled country.
