✨🧡 Thank you! 🧡✨

The AGHI 2023 team wants to say a massive thank you to our phenomenal guest speakers, delegates and collaborators! From beginning to the end, it was such an informative and engaging event. Every presentation from our guest speakers was so inspiring, and gave us the tools to empower us to continue making changes in our communities! Our delegates were all so passionate, and it was clear their hearts truly aligned with tackling NCDs globally. It was truly a spectacular time and again, a massive thanks to our in-person and online delegates, MULMIG and their marvellous event, as well as the plethora of wonderful guest speakers that gave their time to educate and upskill all of us. With all that you have gained and learnt from this year's intensive, we hope to see you all at our next AMSA Global Health Intensive!!!

Be The Change

As of 2019, The Australian Medical Association (AMA) along with numerous other medical associations have deemed climate change as a health emergency, with WHO recognising climate change as the “greatest threat to global health in the 21st century”.

As it is a highly topical medical issue at the moment, we appreciate that now is our time more than ever, to get educated about this and take action. Especially given the 2019-2020 Australian bushfires, we recognise the impacts, whether it be directly or indirectly the fires have had on our homes, community and health.

If there was ever a right time to educate our medical students about this, it is now.

Take a chance with us and be a part of the change with AGHI 2020.
