Celebrating 🥳 24 incredible years with Sharron King when you walked down the aisle to ‘Truly Madly Deeply’

To exchange our wedding vows in Sharron’s home town.

To date one of the best parties 🎉 we have had.

Our 24 years of marriage has been jam packed full of so many amazing adventures.

3 incredible kids.

There certainly has been challenges along the way.

To which just I believe makes us stronger and closer.

Loving the adventure we are on now together.

Reflecting this morning on a wonderful weekend on Pinbarren Mohntain overlooking the Beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Enjoying great atmosphere, great local food and local drinks.

Couldn’t ask for a better way to celebrate our life together.

Don’t fix me!

I don’t need you telling me how to live my life.

What I need is to live my life the best way I know how to.

A few years ago this is how I felt…..

I desire to live a good life along with everyone else.

My journey even those few years ago taught me to live:

Each day we wake up is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow.

What I need from my fellow colleagues, family & mates is for them to walk alongside me rather than in front of me or behind me.

When you walk alongside me, we get to collaborate and collectively work and live together.

Creating incredible stories and memories together.

What I believe, when someone walks in front or behind you, they are either telling or managing me.

Well that’s certainly our dream!!!

Noticed that the latest craze these past 5 years is to pack up and homeschool your kids whilst exploring the amazing countryside?

Get the lastest off-road 4wd / caravan set up to go totally off grid!

Nothing beats life experiences right!?!!

What an incredible thing to be able to do - highly recommend it when you young and fit and able.

The latest gear to do it though!!!

Sell your soul to be able to pay for it right!

We’ve been blessed to have experience it!

Nothing beats escaping the so called RAT RACE with our kids when they were younger.

Livin the Dream.

Still so much to see though!

Australia’s a big place…

Whilst travelling and talking to all the grey nomads who have worked their entire life.

Their dream was to at retirement age at the ripe old age of 60-65 has been, rather than sit at home 🏠, they chose to buy a caravan and live a freedom lifestyle.

Parked up anywhere they choose whenever they choose!

What an epic way to live out your retirement....

However they all told us what an amazing thing your doing at your age and your young kids age…

To get them out travelling while your young fit and able to do all the cool stuff they can’t do because they’re way to old and fragile.

This is what life is isn’t it!

Work until your 65/70 then finally get to enjoy the last few years of your life….

Mmmm do you think there’s got to be a better way?

Because the workforce needs you and apparently the pension won’t be around for much longer, I’d better keep working to pay for my retirement.

I for one no I’m not choosing to work right up until I’m in my mid 60’s.

I choose to live a good life!

I’m not sure about you!!!

But this just doesn’t sit comfortably for me.

Let alone the fact that when I do decide to get back out and travel.

I want to not have to rely on a measly tiny superannuation to fund our travels!

Drop an emoji if your super isn’t cut out for a life of freedom…

I needed a Solution

I needed a way to fund my travels

I was going down the deepest spiral black hole… I was sinking into so much NEGATIVITY

Relationships we’re breaking around me.

I was thinking the worst possible outcome in relation to Work, home & family/friends

I had constant anxious thoughts racing through me.

Feelings of unworthiness and unappreciation.

There was massive change that happened in my work career 3 years ago and I wasn’t coping with the change.

Feelings of not resonating and aligning with the structure the business was taking.

This feeling continued for the next couple of years… especially with all that’s been going on in the world 🌎

I had so many uncertainties in my thoughts.

Was my chosen career really heart centred and supporting the community or was it just a sales driven business 🧑‍💼

Constantly changing the goal posts!

Because of the inability to cope with the change, I had severe feelings of anger and stress.

I allowed my ego get the better of me.

My OCD was taking over which brought upon negativity into my job.

The pressures I was under to maintain those KPI’s the business was expecting.

Which led to myself over analysing and over thinking.

Living in a state of fear every day I went into to work.

Which led me to not truly listening to others and not placing trust in them, which of course; led to feelings of anger because I wasn’t been heard.

This led me releasing anger and not truly being present with my family. 😠

I felt broken! 😕

I felt rejection! 😕

I felt like a failure! 😕

The past 2 years I have been working on being the best version of myself.

It’s been quite challenging at times especially with the ability to let the ego go!

The whole social isolation and of the world not helping either.

What I’m truly grateful though is with all this happening for me… it opened up amazing opportunities.

Opportunities to re invent myself.

Opportunities to create a business where I set my KPI’s

Something in which I had been looking for a long long time.

Even way before going down the rabbit hole 🕳 of negativity.

I now look back over these changes, they had happened for me so as I could gain a whole new perspective in life.

Absolute gratitude for how it all played out.

Devine timing and happening for me!

A true allignnent of really Livin an Improved work life balance.

So yes 🙌 even though my past events may of been unsettling for me.

However.....I wouldn’t change a thing.

I believe it was a blessing for me.... a blessing so as to prevent me from being a statistic.

My health and my family is truly way more important than any bullet point on any resume.

Not only am I grateful for those men who fought for our Freedom in Australia.

I’m also grateful for all the men who work tirelessly everyday who sacrifice their family time to provide us with Housing,Roads & Utilities we need to live our best lives.

WAS TRYING TOO DAMN HARD TO ESCAPE THE DAILY GRIND!!

To getaway in the caravan on that illustrious 2nd weekend off a fortnight.

Hey I love camping… I love ❤️ getting out and seeing the amazing country I live in.

What I fell into was being in a state of feeling resentful for my job and seeing people enjoying themselves whilst I was serving them.

I was chasing a future life of wanting my past life of travels back.

Trying desperately to create that Easy ‘Hitch the Van’ way, on a Friday arvo.

The harder I tried to make it happen… the more it didn’t happen..

Which led me to becoming frustrated at work.

Feeling this way in my work life led me to falling into a reactive negative state. So Sick and tired of feeling a lack of worthlessness.

Rather than be that proactive change making leader creating amazing results even though I was still creating those incredible results….

I became broken 😡

I became negative 😞

I became lost 😞

This cost me the respect from my peers, family & mates.

Also Those times I did manage to get away on a weekend escape from reality… I truly wasn’t really present.

Constantly worrying about results and anxiety on the Sunday pack up and drive home worrying what was I too be confronted by on the Monday back at work.

I had been on the search with the amazing support from beautiful wife Sharron to find that something else to do to create that spark ⚡️ again.

We looked at buying my own business, starting an online store, seriously looking into online marketing small ticket items, selling up our family home and settling for a smaller tiny home near water to get rid of the mortgage.

All these were great ideas but they just weren’t for me..

I was becoming even more stressed 😩 with having to settle for lack of fulfilment.

It wouldn’t of given me satisfaction to just settle for less.

🔥 I’m here right now to create change.
🔥 I’m here to still learn and grow (Earth school)
🔥 I’m here to be that line in the sand moment for the generational men in my lineage.

I’m not here to just make a ton of money and pay bills and die.

I’m here to inspire Blokes, inspire my future generations that we don’t have to just work a lifetime with no Micro Breaks.

That’s why when the algorithms of social media appeared into my feeds about an online community of Conscious Heart ❤️ led leaders.

I had no other option than to find out more.

It’s provided me the opportunity to build a personal brand showcasing what I’ve got to offer my community.

It’s allowed me to create a business where I’m able to support other blokes to create income online whether it be a side hustle or a full time job.

Where you get to choose the freedom to work anywhere you want.

Where we get to leverage the knowledge from others who have had similar journeys and gone before and created success.

Their vision is to support others to create the same success they’ve had.

We are all living in an incredible time in history where we all get to choose to live a life full of abundance.
