I wasn’t able to take many photos during the collaborative event organised by Ability Choice Care and Concentric, but the Director of Concentric, Angeline Violi, delivered a heartwarming and emotional speech about why she started her business and her passion for providing quality care. I also met one of the Directors of Ability Choice Care Mahmoud Fahmy, who I learned that he and his brother were once support workers. Guided by their unwavering vision to create a social hub within their community, they made it a reality and are now changing the lives of their participants by helping them become more independent. Both companies have inspired me.
I encountered familiar faces such as Sumeet Singh Bagal, Anthony Mediati, Terence So, Neeraj Khurana, and Jane Hemel. Special thanks to the ever-lovely Ru Mudalige, who informed me about this event and introduced me to Samiha Makkouk, Pepe Pakoti, and Omar Abbas. It was also a pleasure meeting Marina Liaskos, Sabreena Buksh, Ishwor Dahal , and Gavin Wilson. Though the weather was gloomy, meeting all of you brightened the day. Until the next event.
