Q. What is Water Kefir? A. Q. What ingredients go into making water kefir?

Water kefir is a fermented probiotic beverage made with water kefir grains. Our product is natural with no artificial flavours, colourings or preservatives. Ingredients consist of water kefir grains, filtered water, sugar, lemon, lemon grass, ginger, fig and black strap molasses. Why is kefir good for your health? It is loaded with valuable enzymes, beneficial bacteria (probiotics), vitamins and minerals. Probiotics support proper digestion, synthesis of vitamins and minerals, and your immune system by warding off foreign and harmful bacteria, yeast and viruses. It has thus long been known to promote and aid in digestion and overall health. What is the advantage of taking Kefir instead of a probiotic supplement? Fermented products such as kefir are considered functional foods because they offer enzymes, pre-digested nutrients, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, calories/energy and billions of probiotics. Probiotic pill supplements contain just one or a select variety of bacteria, and usually that's it. It's always better to eat something in its whole form when possible, because each part makes the other more digestible. What strains of yeast and probiotic bacteria does water kefir contain? The probiotics can vary with each batch as the strains may include numerous subspecies and variants. Water kefir is typically composed of billions of beneficial bacteria from the following strains such as Acetobacter, Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, Pediococcus and Leuconostoc bacteria with yeasts from Saccharomyces, Candida, Kloeckera and possibly other minor yeasts. How much water kefir should I drink? It’s smart to start fermented products in small amounts. Start with 1/8 cup per day and increase up to 1 cup over a couple of weeks. A usual amount is around 1-2 cups daily. Some people struggle with it at first, possibly because of the large population of probiotics. Drinking too much at first may have a cleansing effect. It is a wise idea to take it slowly to let your body and digestion get acquainted with it. Q: How long can I store the water kefir in the refrigerator? Up to 1 month

Q. How much alcohol does water kefir contain? As with all cultured and fermented foods, a small amount of naturally occurring alcohol is typically present in the finished product. However the amount is so small it is insignificant.

We have one room coming up for availability in the very near future.
Available from approximately 14/15 September.

We’re looking for like-minded and chilled out type peeps who are respectful, tidy and generally nice people.

🌸🌸You will need to be employed full time - this is definitely non-negotiable 🌸🌸

🌺People on working visas are highly encouraged to apply here🌺

So, A little bit about the house :

We have a beautiful space in East Mackay, close to town and the beach is about 3-4 blocks away.

The rent will include free wifi, Foxtel (in main lounge room) Netflix, and electricity is also included.
We all share the main kitchen upstairs.

You will also have access to an inground pool.
A definite bonus in summer. 🙂

We have a dog and a cat , so no animals Thankyou.

The room is preferably for a couple : fully furnished $400/wk with one week required in advance.
Queen sized bed.

So, if you think you would fit in here and want to share our space, HMU via private message and I’ll swing more details your way or arrange an inspection to see if my dog likes you. 😉

I’ve been purposely running down my stock so my poor coldroom gets a decent clean on Sunday.
Don’t stress though, it’s all fresh as per usual, I just didn’t brew a lot this week.
Working smarter not harder these days….😉

BUT, I am anticipating to sell most of - if not all - of what you can see here.

The back left 2 are not included here (for tomorrow), and while it might not look like much is here, you’d be surprised with how much there actually is.

So, see you all tomorrow bright and early.

Hello everyone.
I set myself a goal when I purchased this ‘lil business of mine to reach 3000 followers……
I don’t really know why I chose this particular number….

It’s taken up until about now to get me SO close.
This is exciting…..🥳

I have 2990 atm, so I’m hoping that I get across this line soon.

Not a huge deal, but it’s a thing for me…..

I love each and every one of you beautiful people too, so thankyou once again for supporting me in doing something I honestly do love to do.

This makes this gig of mine so much more rewarding when I know I’m helping so many of you.

My Story

5 years ago I was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. This was the start of my mission to learn as much about gut health as I could. Every spare chance I had, I would read about the gut microbiome and how it impacts upon our mental, emotional and physical health. Throughout my readings many people from many countries talked about an amazing drink which was full of natural probiotics. There were so many success stories, I had to find this drink. It is known by many names - Water Kefir, Tibicos, Japanese Water Crystal, Sea Rice, etc. I found a lady in Victoria who had some Water Kefir grains and she kindly sent me some so I could make the drink myself. I am healthier than I have ever been, and by sharing my grains and water kefir drink, I have already helped so many people with digestive issues and low immunity. My husband is very healthy and also can’t live without it. He was already feeling great before consuming it, but now he feels amazing! So you don’t have to be sick to consume it. Having a healthy gut really is the key to having a healthy life.
