Shockwave therapy is a really effective option we have at for tendon injuries and plantar heel pain🦶

1️⃣Stimulates Healing: Shockwave therapy increases blood circulation to the affected tendon, promoting tissue repair and accelerating the healing process

2️⃣Reduces Pain and Inflammation: The sound waves reduce pain and inflammation by stimulating the body’s natural healing mechanisms, leading to significant pain relief in cases of tendinopathy or plantar heel pain

3️⃣It provides a non-invasive treatment for tendon injuries, offering an alternative for clients with persistent tendon pain who have not found relief from other therapies

Struggling with shin pain? 🦵 Let's talk about calf raises! This simple yet effective exercise not only tones your calves but can also significantly alleviate shin discomfort.

Here's how: when you perform calf raises, you're not just working your calf muscles, but you're also strengthening the muscles around your shins.

Why does this matter? Shin pain often stems from muscle imbalances or weaknesses in the lower legs. By regularly engaging in calf raises, you're helping to build stability and support around your shins, which can reduce the strain on the shinbone and associated tendons.

Calf raises improve circulation in the lower legs, promoting better nutrient delivery and waste removal from the muscles, which aids in recovery and reduces inflammation—key factors in managing shin pain.

Incorporate calf raises into your workout routine a few times a week. Start with bodyweight calf raises and gradually add resistance as you get stronger.

Consistency is key here, so stick with it to reap the benefits!

Say goodbye to shin pain and hello to stronger, more resilient legs. Your shins will thank you! 🌟

Our Story

When you choose Foot Faults as your podiatry clinic, you’re making a big step in the path towards a more healthy and active lifestyle.

Our Story

Founded in 2009 by Brisbane-based podiatrist Justin Hogg, Foot Faults is guided by a core belief: you shouldn’t have to live with the frustrations and limitations of foot and lower leg pain. After finding relief from distressing running injuries through podiatry, Justin established his own clinic to help keep others pain-free and active. He also set out to offer as accessible a podiatry service as possible — personally providing in-home care and visiting facilities that service the elderly, homeless, and those with disabilities. This care and commitment to the community is still a key part of the company’s mission today.
