Delivery Day!!
It was before 9am today, so bit of a shock to the system.
Thankfully my husband is a morning person and took charge, aided by our 18 year old son .

I was asked by several women at the Homebirth Conference WHY there was a valve on the underside of the pool??
I heard several stories of pools wobbling due to enthusiastic pool preppers ignoring the DO NOT INFLATE sign.
So here goes.
The purpose of the valve is to prevent trapped air under the floor that could make the pool sit on the floor at an angle.
BPIAB professional pools have an extra protective layer under the floor to prevent abrasion damage to the floor.
It is not to hold air or water. It is to protect your pool

The Conference dinner was brilliant, until it wasn't but more on that tomorrow.
The dinner is always fun and I was excited to show off my jammies.
However, clearly felt very shy about showing them off 🤣🤣

These 2 pools have been designed around their photographic appeal .
It's so interesting to me, 20 years ago women rejected white as a colour as it was deemed too clinical, hospital like - this was before facebook, instagram etc.
Personally, I cant wait to see what Birth Photographers do with the Midnight Blue Pool.
These will be on our website today .

Something very different for us.
In june my Niece was knocked of her motorbike and terribly injured. Her recovery has been nothing short of miraculous.
1 thing this aunty could do was to give her an Oasis Birth Pool to use as an ice bath.
This is her story, we are so proud of her commitment to recovery.
I'll post pics of her Ice Bath today.
